... I'm very suprised Wingback didn't include a bottle pouch at the either side of there new backpack Jon? Especially with them producing there own 100ml flask bottles I think they might of missed a bit of a trick there? After purchasing one of there Winston wallets recently off the back of one of your reviews I've been very very impressed with Wingbacks overall quality and customer service so I have been looking at one of these particular bags recently pal. (I even mentioned your own very channel Jon on the Wingbacks official review site.)

Accessing the rucksack back panel is usually to use the pad as a sit mat, swap it out for a ballistic plate, remove it to roll up easier or to remove and have an extra pocket/ bladder sleeve. Good quality videos thanks , 👍

Great feedback - particularly like the idea of rolling it up if you wanted to pack it 👍

I'm amazed LARQ haven't made a bottle yet that has the UV light on the bottom of the bottle & the filter on the top. Seems like a no-brainer & I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat.

For warm gloves with good dexterity, you should look into bicycle equipment manufacturers. Same high windchill as skiing but added need for retained level of fine motor skills to operate break levers, gear shifters, dropper post leaver, suspension fork remote, and most likely a bike computer as well, and should (mis-)fortune have it; small tools as well. I have been very satisfied with my various Grib-Grab gloves - and quite a few of the models comes in other colors than Hi-Vis yellow :) As a great alternative to anonymous looking finger gloves I have found neoprene sport fishing cloves a viable option. Super tight fit and still fairly warm. Actually tight enough to be a very good winter option driver gloves (although you will need to remove them and wipe dry your hands once the heater/AC has raised the temperature in the car).

Yeah, I have windproof gloves - but not waterproof. I usually need them for biking - a real life saver in the cold (+ gore headband). Waterproof and Smartphone controlling - I'll definitely keep it in mind for later. The other items are not for me - I don't mind the outdoor look in my every day life, if they save me money and it performs good.

Hi Thanks for the video. My Go To water filter for travel is still the Grayl filter. Because of the way it operates I can either drink from it directly and/or pour filtered water into another container and then filter a second lot. Great then to carry just one filter for more than 1 person.

I hate to think about how many gallons of unfiltered, unpurified, water I drank out of mountain streams and Snake River Aquifer springs; and even more questionable sources. I, luckily, never experienced any ill effects. The only option in those days was iodine tablets. Now there are so many options, and I too find the Grayl the most flexible and convenient.
