The L046 (true zebra) go for around £150 here in the UK.... and that's at about 1 inch long.

I enjoy the shows and the information that’s in them. The history behind the fish is also great. Keep the shows coming. It would be nice to get some shows that are more in-depth on one specific fish care, along with some history behind it.

Thank you! any fish in particular you have in mind?

@@thefishfiles I’m not quite sure, I know you’ve been talking a lot about nano tanks. Maybe good fish for a community tank in the 35-55 rang or maybe some monster for a tank that size. I really like the vampire tetras, you said they get really large.Do you think they would do well in a school/shoal?I just got into fish keeping. It escalated quickly started with a 6gallon with one half moon Betta. Then realized it’s too small so I got a 35gallon. With 10 Black neon tetras some shrimp a mystery, snail, and the betta. Then found another 35 gallon end up with 2 angels fish 10 neon tetras a snail and shrimp. I’m open to suggestions and ideas. I know you’re a whole sale guy. But I find your information really good and you talk a little bit about each fish you show.

Plecos need wood! They don't really eat it intentionally but as they are grazing along looking for algae, they will ingest some wood fiber. It's quite important to their digestion/gut health.

Parotocinclus are also great! I have 3 Parotocinclus haroldoi (2 females, 1 male) in my 20 gallon. They don’t get bigger than 6cm and are very active. Even show themselves a lot during the day, seem to prefer to eat only at night though. Interesting coloring, individual sozial interactions between the single plecos, very hardy. Only eat green stuff though. Green algae wavers, leaves, crusta tabs and stuff go well. I love them very much and are hoping to be able to breed ‘em when I have time. The females already had eggs 2 times now in only a months time. Also wild caught from brasil though. Wish me luck breeding haha! Huge Parotocinclus fan hehe! Searching for some Parotocinclus Variola right now to add to my second tank.

I kept Hara jerdoni for years, and can confirm that they are not nocturnal and prefer to associate in groups. They eat small living foods such as Tubifex and bloodworm, even frozen foods. They are called stone catfish because they resemble the stone substrate of the streams they live in. Hara species (now reclassified as Erethistes) do not come from Indonesia. They are only known from India and Bangladesh. Jerdon didn't describe this species. Francis Day described this species in 1870 and named it in honour of Jerdon, who first collected it. The rules on nomenclature forbid people from naming species after themselves.

Have you noticed any specific behaviors when keeping them in groups?

Thanks for all the details that don’t describe the fish. You keep saying “this size , good size” without telling what the size is. On my tv these fish are 28” long. Can you be more vague

I don't recommend Bumblebee Catfish, as they can eat fish even larger than their bodies! I once kept one with a Betta, and he swallowed him whole!! Bigger fish that try to eat him choke on his pectoral and dorsal spines.
