@AwesomeTheSause curious on your take of my assessment: I'm not a wiz pvp expert by any means, but this seems like a strategy of attrition and winning out at a slightly higher rate than most opponents. If your deck strat is purely to blade up and then counter the hard blade counter for multiblade charms, it is a purely monolithic/clear cut formula. If other decks try to be more versatile in what they can deal with, you're going to have the upper hand in terms of the path to wins. And this gets compounded by how the strat enables him to quick click taking away from the opponent's ability to dig for answers on his turn as they try to adapt to the specific school/strat they are fighting. But with his set up, if he's not concerned with countering the opponent like almost at all, his moves are more clear cut. Add to that how his only "now I have a problem" situation is when they Rebirth to remove the King Art traps and he's still looking pretty more times than not because the opponent needs to a) draw the outs and b) manage the necessary pips to cast them. His pip management is more straight forward which means less time to plan a move in advance. It's honestly kind of brilliant in its own way. Especially since triple blades actually still end up beating out Scarecrow in the long run that deals with 7 blades for 7/8 pips. Say you even go 3 triple blades and 1 normal - you're still ahead a pip and 3 blades. And even burning what's left on the King Art, you can't expect them to be able to counter EVERYTHING and then you try to catch them off guard with the Djinn. It feels like a pretty five-head way of chipping them down, either through chip damage or running their resources/possible counter plays out. Thoughts?

Yeah idk. From casually watching other TCGs, he kind of complains a lot for people finding ways to play around with the game's systems even if it's in unfun ways.
@ddrguy3008Күн бұрын
@@justascomplicated8182 It comes from being tired of him getting targeted being a well known creator i.e. stream sniping. So it makes the other annoyances extra annoying. And his complaints are more about the ways in which the design stays stagnant for so long when obvious issues are present.
@justascomplicated8182Күн бұрын
@@ddrguy3008 Yeah I'm aware of the stream sniping, I was referencing strategies that he thinks aren't interesting. I'm saying I feel as if he has a relatively lower tolerance for these other strategies than people from other TCGs which have a lot more bs. This isn't an argument about whether said strategies should be in the game or game design as opposed to loosely comparing TCG communities.
