I never struggled with any of these. Atleast not to this level. I don’t mind only having 1 or 2 friends as long as they show the same trust and loyalty I give. But even though I had self esteem issues, I chose to always be a genuine and good person bc people were getting worse and worse. That and being naturally funny bc I liked making people smile. Just those 2 things had girls liking me. Low bar tbh but in the end I only genuinely wanted one woman. I think the real answer is take time to go back and see your perspective, issues, why you did it, and what caused as it’s not 100% your fault atleast half the time. Then you rebuild your foundation. I think you ask about her family if she mentions them, not as an opener. Ex. She mentions her brother. You can ask: "Older or younger? What's like growing up with your brother? My brother drove me crazy." Last bit only if you actually have a brother, of course. Once your topic is on family, you can move to asking about other siblings (if any) or parents. Tip I usually give to my guy friends: be wary of women who do not have a good relationship with their father or do not have a father figure in their life. It does not mean they are not relationship material. It's just a wound that she would need to have dealt with in order to have a healthy relationship with you, I think. Some of my women friends have messed up some poor guys because they haven't healed that wound before dating.
