So I make it to Northern Island on the Harley Davidson Street Glide, I meet up with some followers of the channel who offer to give me a free tattoo and we discuss the IRA in the North and why is Ireland and Northern Island divided. I then head head to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, not going to be easy to get there !!

If you'd asked that in West Belfast you would have got a very different reaction, but those guys were very tactful. I had a friend killed by the IRA back in the 80's while we were on patrol, the place is totally unrecognisable today and for the better. Can't wait to see the rest of the Irish tour and then onto the US, it's been excellent as always Danny

Danny, when you get stuck in the rain with your boots are soaking wet, when you get to the hotel find some newspaper. Crumple up the newspaper and shove a lot inside the boot, wait a few mins then pull it out and do the process again with fresh newspaper. Keep doing that until the newspaper is not wet anymore, (only takes a few times), then with no more newspaper open the boots up as much as you can and it will dry out over night. Won't need hairdryers

I might be mistaken but I believe the Street Glide has air adjustable suspension. You just need a small hand air pump (from harley) and you could adjust the ride.

Danny, I'm sure that you've heard of the old stuff your wet boots with newspaper. Well it actually works very well. Just get some newspaper and stuff it tightly in your boots. Check it in a few hrs and change out if soaked. But can leave it overnight and your boots well be plenty dry the next morning. Believe me I've used this trick when got caught riding in A tropical storm in northern Florida southern Georgia. Stay dry and safe my friend. Thanks for the great videos of Ireland travels.

Cliffs of Mother are on the West coast of the island. Northern Ireland is a political entity currently within the UK who's makes up approximately 20 percent of the Island. The rest of the Island is officially known as both Ireland or Republic of Ireland and is not part of the UK but is an independent state within the European Union. Having said that both the UK (which is not in the European Union) and all of the Island of Ireland is a free travel area. Because Northern Ireland is part of the UK, the metric system and currency differ from the rest of Ireland i.e miles and sterling only in use in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland comprises of six counties with the rest of Ireland having 26 counties. Two of the counties including the one this tattoo shop is in have a majority Protestant population. The northern province of Ireland (one of four provinces) actually comprises of nine counties with the remaining three being in the Republic of Ireland. Consequently the term Northern Ireland can be confusing as well as the term South Ireland which the Tattooist used. I cannot really imagine that kind of conversation taking place in most of the Republic of Ireland and I understand this is also increasingly so in Norther Ireland where along with the majority in Scotland and actually voted to stay within the European Union. Just to confuse matters more ,currently Northern Ireland is considered (for international and pan European purposes) as part of the European Union. If readers are not already confused enough the most northerly part of the Island of Ireland is part of the Republic of Ireland and a very large part of the population of Northern Ireland including those from the traditional unionist /Protestant population hold voluntarily hold Irish passports. I doubt very much if those lads were ever in the Republic of Ireland: because nobody can carry 'heat' in the Republic of Ireland where even police officers on regular duty are not armed simply because there is no need. Unless 'packing heat' does not mean carrying a fire arm I would strongly recommend that you do not carry a fire arm travelling around the rest of Ireland. Policing is a lot more relaxed than in the UK or even most parts of Europe and the western world , bit that is because it can afford to be as unlike what the Tattooist told you the "South" is not "rough' and Sectarianism and different religions are non issues. Carrying a fire arm is strictly forbidden in the Republic of Ireland and there is no reason for law abiding citizens to carry one. 😊
