Even if it affected your CPU usage: 1. If your CPU:s temperature rises in a way that affects performance, the PC will thermal throttle. Effectively lowering the clockspeed to cool itself down. 2. If your CPU gets too hot, your PC will turn itself off as a fail safe. The "It'll fry your CPU", is fear mongering and maybe even started by the hackers themselves. When streamers repeat the phrase, many viewers will take it at face value and pass it forward to their friends.

Surely this still damages it though. If you think of a CPU more of having a life cycle. Lets use some easy numbers for arguments sake. So if you have a CPU running at 100% will last 1 year. But if you run that same CPU at 10% it will last 10 years. So by increasing the load of the CPU surely are you not decreasing its over all life cycle because its had to work harder to do these things? Granted it will be a tiny amount but still even though it is such a small amount the statement would still be true?

It really is incredible how many ways they can break the game without devs being able to track it or stop it in any way. Speed hack for example has been in the game for multiple years, it isn't hard to program a logic that checks if players move impossibly fast...

I'm told this is an old problem in Unity 2022. That it has been fixed in more recent versions. It's possible this is a temporary problem with the engine that is only possible because the game has only been on Unity 2022 for a month, and the problem already has a fix that just has to be implemented.

The accounts with 200 hours and 5000 kills and level 55. And then they have a 50% survival rate and have died on factory 100 times in a row..humm not sus at all. The ones with the 99% survival rate.. BSG doesn't care, no different then Call of Duty

It is not really an engine problem, but a server side check problem. They need to implement a stable way to handle movement sync with validation. I know before cheats did a ridicules "speed hack" that it just spammed the movement commands and the server just said "You are already running, but tell me that you started running again, Ill just add another sprint speed modifier to your speed", no logic at all like "wait, if someone holds W, and presses W again, nothing more should happen" (this could be a patched way, as it was so stupid when I read about it, but it still a valid example.) CS 1.6 managed to patch / detect speedhacks... (a little unfair comparison but still)

They may have stopped the loot vacuuming, but picking up a LEDX, BTC, Intel, etc as a scav (or having anything high value outside your secure container as a PMC) is still a death sentence. No matter where you are or how little noise you make, you're going to get hunted down, and often the first you'll know about it is the ding of a grenade landing right at your feet or a player scav landing a miraculous shot on you from the other side of the map. This is one of the worst wipes I've experienced for rampant cheating

I'm not saying you are wrong mate because I've experienced what you are talking about in the past, but I've had a good wipe so far with respect to "obvious" cheating. I've taken more GPU's out of raid than I ever have before so early in the wipe. Maybe the lack of flea and demand for hideout items has had a positive effect - on the RMT side of things at least.

I met a CPU Fryer cheater on EU north servers on a factory raid, he was rushing someone else and i started lagging a lot and hearing that sound, and luckily killed him somehow as he was distracted with the other guy (EDIT: his name was CCLLJJ)

PC never will be damaged by a game unless the engines DLL files have endless nullpointerexceptions and thats not the case, even if u have no CPU cooler the CPU will throttle or flick the saveswitch and give u a bluescreen to protect it from thermal dmg this is just an DLL overload cause they spam the networkstack with information

Im from the UK I play on the EU servers, I have died to someone called CPUFRYER3000 but whether it's the same person or just a copied name. I have yet to experience this hack however, but that could be that I just die too quick to be get to the disconnected point. I have had heavy lag on a gigabit connection, and major FPS drops with an RTX4090 and Ryzen 9 5950X. I generally just put it down to "just tarkov" but when you watch these videos, you start to doubt.

In my old setup I had liquid cooler failure and my cpu had reached 100 degrees and pc didn't shut down. Cpu was still alive after tech guy did tests but mobo socket cracked and never worked again with any compatible cpu. So yeah, FYI an experience that can happen.

Brother i am in schooling right now for this and i can PROMISE YOU this does do irreversible damage to your CPU. Dont get me wrong yes it doesnt do damage to a point if youre not 100% workload. If you stay at 100% workload and you dont have a 260mm watercooling AIO and that high temp light turns on on your motherboard it is 110% doing damage to your CPU, but most motherboards now days force the PC to shut off when they get to a certain temp before damaging it. Dont think that high temp didnt do anything bad to it though becasue im telling you it most likely did. Especially if you dont have a watercooler

40 dollar is for standard edition and the stash space is not enough space to achieve end game status. It cannot hold all the quest items you need to complete game 100 percent . Plus I spent 150 or so dollar 6 years ago I belive for this game for eod. I cant believe the optimization is still not a priority for them. I dont play game anymore . I play US servers and I have had instances where I load into raid and my fps progressively drops over about 2 mins until i crash. this has only happened to me a couple times and a friend of mine once i think. it was early raid and didnt seem to be players around idk if one of these cheaters was maybe in my raid or a weird bug.

So this might be a weird take but this has been one of the most fun wipes I’ve played in a long time I die to someone cheating probably every 1 in 8 - 10 raids I’d say depending on the maps I play I’ve never felt with a CPU fryer cheat yes there’s probably cheaters that are not just killing me but regardless no flee market has made the early wipe so fun! I think streamers are targeted by cheaters a lot so they get them a lot due to it. This is just from the POV of a 6k hr normal player.

Im pretty sure there is also cheat that increases armor tier of their plates. I was shooting 9x39 BP which have 54 pen and somehow dude tanked 160 dmg or so with level 4 plate which even level 5 should not stand a chance. Plate was 0 dura, no other plates in site and my friend finished him after he onetapped me and he had fresh standard acc with 33h on record.

Normally i would say this is ridiculous but i have experienced this myself quite a few times and just put it down to playing on far servers with 120-200 ping. I think there is a cheat to maybe visually change the position of the character model and not so much buff the hp or armor.

I’ve experienced this with friends on plain scavs, so def not a cheat. My rough testing is that for some reason, plates stop WAAAAAY more than they should compared to the old system. Plateless rigs/armours still function the same, but it seems like plates lower the pen if ammo by a ton (e.g. BP has 54 pen, but once it passes the plate it loses like, 40% and gets stopped by the soft armour) I’d love more info, but I don’t think it’s a cheat

20,000 accounts banned roughly 2-3 times a year. 40-60,000 guaranteed new accounts by not implementing a more invasive anti-cheat. Many players dont want to download more invasive anti-cheat. BSG will never fix because fixing will cause them to lose players just as much as the cheating does as well as make them lose money
