I agree 100% it needs weight I just upgraded mine and it’s night and day I did brass headlocks from injora and it’s a beast i just ordered the whole list of brass and I’ll do a review of it later thanks for your video i hit the subscribe button 😊

The SCX24 Bronco doesn't have oil filed shocks, it has the same shocks as all the other SCX24's. They had to change the rx/esc/tx for the AX24 so the 4ws would be proportional, the v2 electronics doesn't support it. The DX3 is a nice TX for a RTR tx. I do appreciate the honest review from someone who has one and no alliance to the manufacture. Most reviewers these days are getting paid in one way or the other. I also like your course, very well doe and it looks like it's fun to drive.

@@Backyard_KLX I put the axial brass knuckles plus all weights up front. Treal 4mm hex extensions all the way around. Treal 4 link servo tray with emax servo front and rear, axials carbon fiber chassis rails, axials brass skid, Treal brass ringed beadlocks on proline Baja X’s and it’s a ANIMAL! It demolishes crazy lines! I have the axial brass diffs on back order too and once those show up I’m overdriving it! I just found a 10 piece high clearance brass link set too! Trust me, once you get your build goin you will love that rig! 💯

I absolutely hated mine with a passion out of the box. The old parts are the ones that come off all axial 1/24 day one and the new is just no good on it. My first impression was that I would take the drive shafts off and replace the axles with two stock rear axles and give it to my 2 year old grandson as a push toy. I ended up though putting new non Axial of course parts on it and it is better. The steering servos were of course replaced with AGFRC and were bigger than stock and emax and are on brass trays. Brass also on the knuckles, hexes, dif covers, and steering links. I have a brass skid coming. I put an Injora 50/50 motor in it. It's still top heavy. It needs attention on the wheel base, and shocks still. The steering is tits all around though now and it will go some places on the course made for modded scx trucks where out of the box it would make when rounded to the nearest decimal point, zero lines on that course. As far as 4WS that should not be thought of as driving styles but tools used only in specific situations or it will indeed work against you at times.

Thank you! And yes just black paint with a thin paint brush, 3 light coats of paint! Makes a huge difference in appearance.

I just picked one up all I did so far is put +7 hex wheel extenders & used small rubber bands on each shock to help with the bounceyness & it improved it a lot. At first it wouldn’t really climb on my course “keep rolling over. Just lowering the shocks & widening the stance really made a difference now it actually crawls awesome without tipping over as bad! More upgrades to come!

you should probably buy some of those powerhobby shots before you tell people that they're compatible they'll work if you cut an eighth of an inch of material away from the shock mount area

I actually just received mine today in the mail, the color I wanted was on back order for a little over a month. I only suggested these specific shocks because I know at least 3 people who have installed them and didn’t have a problems with the installation or modifications necessary… I’ll let you know how it goes tonight when I go to install them… sorry for the confusion.

Ok so update, they do fit, all I had to do was remove the top pivot balls from the stock shocks and swap it over to the top of the Powerhobby shocks… once again sorry for the mistake.
