Many thanks for sharing this lesson. At around 3.20 minutes the direction of the turbines are in opposite direction. Do you mean the shaft will go in opposite direction or turbine casing?

When casing expands towards left side does thrust bearing also moves towards left side (away from hp ebtry side) Now what I'm confusing as rotor expands and with thrust the thrust collar will move towards active collar now how to avoid the rubbing between two? I think this will be control through monitoring relative extension now as casing expands opposite to rotor then thrust collar will move with it but in this expansion the clearance between active pads and rotor wouldn't reduce further? or with expansion of casing the thrust collar will also expands ? please explain it to me
