Je l'ai commandé pour pouvoir downwind en sup foil plus souvent. J'ai trop hâte de la tester. Je suis tellement accro que j'ai fais plusieurs sorties où je devais m'arrêter toutes les minutes avec la 1099 car les bumps étaient vraiment trop petit 😅

I like your pump, I feel I can see your mechanics after you touch down and have to build the speed back up. I don’t get enough time to practice my pump… I should attempt dock starting but I’ve had two hip surgeries and don’t want to damage myself further. It would be fun to chat pumping one day. ✌️

That’s an excellent video Yvon, thanks for sharing. I’m on a Great Lake in Canada 🇨🇦 & the swells often don’t get larger til mid-late afternoon. Your suggestions on where to ride in relation to the swell are very helpful.👏

Your videos are amazing and so inspiring!! Showed this, your lake Zurich and some shorts to my kids too and they love them too! Wanted to ask your advice for someone starting out. I'm 83kg, 47yrs old and not super fit but have done a bunch of boardsports in the past. Was wondering for dock starting & hopefully light winging/downwinding if you'd recommend a PNG 1150, 1310,1300 or a art pro 1401? Any guidance would be massively appreciated. thanks again for the fantastic videos!

Oui la Sirus est plus lente et du coup c'est plus compliqué.... Si tu veux pas changer pour AXIS, tu peux déjà essayer de mettre un plus petit stab, prend le plus petit de chez Gong, ça va aider.

I use the silly short advance+, But I'm wating for the crazy short advance+. Crazy short advance+ will be my fuse to go for every wing, the most polyvalent (long time pumping and downwind).

Ça fait rêver! J’ai un petit conseil à te demander. Je fais de la Wing depuis 2 ans, je maitrise bien les jibes et j’aimerais maintenant me mettre au Dockstart mais j’hésite entre acheter la PNG 1300 ou investir pour passer en ART PRO 1401 (Black fuselage, etc.). Je n’ai jamais essayé le dockstart, actuellement en Wing je navigue en light avec la AXIS BSC 1060 ou avec AXIS Carve 1000 quand il y a plus de 15 nœuds. Dans un commentaire précédent, tu deconseilles au novice en dockstart d’acheter la ART PRO 1401 et je voulais savoir si, dans mon cas, je devais suivre ce conseil? Merci pour ton retour.

@@yvonvite 😂👍 I track my workouts with the iwatch and it calculates Vo2 max. It's excellent accuracy at tracking your gains, but might not be 100% correct. I'm up to 47.1 but not pumping as long as you. But, my technique needs work still! Keep pushing my friend! 😂🤙

​​​@@yvonvite3670 That is incredible. I'm about 2:20(recently) on 1201 and 2:30 (some time ago, with less practice) on 1300. I cannot imagine the possibility of going 7+ minutes. Might be time for a 1401 to see if I can do similar! Added bonus for use in super light wind downwinding... Do you have any opinion on rear wing selection for pump duration with 1401 and in general?

@@JoshWiden depends on your weight, I'm 72 kg and I love to use the skinny 360/45 for long time pumping on flat water... if you're around 80kg I suggest the 362/50. Definitely the skinny helps to pump longer time, because you're faster and with speed, you reduce the pump frequency.

J’ai récemment acheté un leviathan 1350 de chez sabfoil et si tu le connais, ton avis m’intéresse pour savoir si j’ai fait un bon choix pour me mettre où pump foil (je fais déjà du wingfoil), ou si j’aurais dû plutôt acheter chez Axis qui semblent vraiment faire des prouesses en matière de foils comme ce 1401 qui semble dingue quand on sait l’utiliser comme toi. Salut Nico, alors la leviathan 1350 va très bien pour débuter en dockstart... Leur mat est un peu trop mou, mais tu vas t'habituer. Sinon pour faire ce que je fais, la leviathan est un peu trop lente et ça rend le downwind un peu plus compliqué... Il y a justement un gars en leviathan sur ce spot à Rolle qui galère un peu, j'avais essayé son matos et il a changé de stab pour aller un peu plus vite, et ça marchait un peu mieux au final, mais la 1401 d'AXIS est inégalable et bien plus simple d'utilisation pour le downwind.

Par contre, tu n'aurais pas pu commencer le dockstart en 1401 d'axis, c'est pas une aile pour débuter, il t'aurait fallu une autre aile aussi. Donc une fois que tu sauras bien pomper, il faudra surement que tu changes soit d'aile, soit de marque. Je ne connais pas les ailes en dessous de la 1350, je ne sais pas si elles sont assez rapide.
