Hi Proffesor. I have been watching almost all of your videos on youtube related to travel and credit Cards. Me, my wife and son of 4 years are planning to go to switzerland in May. I have figured out which partner airline would be best. Looks like American Airline Advantage with 40,000 round fare and $123 in tax per person is the best option from BLR to Zurich. I am however unable to connect the dots on how do I move the points to AA. Neither Infinia or Atlas have direct transfer option. I don't have Amex, but even with Marriot Bonvoy the ratio is poor with 3:1. Is there a way to move Infinia or Atlas points to AA in the most efficient way. Appreciate your help. E.g. If from Infinia to Finnair in 1 is to 1 and then Finnair to AA, but not sure if Finnair lets you transfer to AA
@ProfessorCardzКүн бұрын
can't move to AA. find any other partner with better transfer options

How to check taxes applicable on flight booking before transfering points

What is the validity of Marriott points?

Does conversion to Maharaja Club make sense? I travel a lot domestically and have Atlas?
@ProfessorCardzАй бұрын
yes. I does. 1L points in that will never hurt for domestic travel.

Amazing video with detailed info. I think no one did a video on planning a trip right from flights to hotel booking using Axis EM. Like how many EM needed for a trip to make best use of EM ? Can do plan a trip with 2-3 destinations??

Transferred points to Accor successfully but points are not visible in my account.Accor replied that it might take six weeks to take effect and if points are not visible then I need to contact axis bank

Taxes on avois are too high these days , still make sense to transfer there?
@ProfessorCardzАй бұрын
@@akashkalp I have mentioned one thing that you can transfer avios between various partners. Try checking finnair on the same route. You make be surprised with the lower taxes.

this is the only handle. you need to convert when you have a plan to travel, otherwise just let them be in the account.
