Yw sometimes the axle can be a little tough getting back in but other than that it’s pretty simple 👍🏻

Is “the right stuff” better for this than the ultra grey that comes in a tube ?
@ChasingtheDreamRV28 күн бұрын
@@gwarner5022 I’ve never had a leak with the right stuff although it is expensive it’s worth it imo, I don’t like doing stuff twice

Great vid....thanks....I have a 2020 45opp bus and have had both side seals replaced...Tiffin says its a "known" issue but NO recall....yet. I used the same type of paper seal but if it blows I'll use the liquid you recommended.....thanks again

Did you add any fluid back in for what came out?
@ChasingtheDreamRV3 ай бұрын
@@MikeFrevola it didn’t need any, it didn’t lose much, typically they are a touch overfull from factory

Didn't you need to replace the oil that had leaked from the seal and from you pulling the shaft?
@ChasingtheDreamRV Жыл бұрын
No typically you don’t lose that much if caught early but it’s always good to check afterwards to be sure

Nice video, I noticed a small streak of oil coming from one of the lug nuts on my front wheel, have a frieghtliner annual next week( 2019 RED) so I can have it taken care off. What power tool were you using? Thanks!

It was a Kobalt 1/2 drive variable speed brushless impact from Lowe’s

Thanks!!! That was too easy. We have a 2007 Monaco Executive. Looks to be the same… without taking anything apart yet. Multiple dealers wanted over $300 labor and $100 parts for each wheel. We have the tag axle too.

You’re welcome 👍if the axle doesn’t slide right out you can hit it right in the center with a dead blow hammer and it will pop right out. The hardest part is balancing the axle putting back in as it is heavy. Take ur time and use the axle housing as a pivot point and you’ll get it. Also don’t forget to check the fluid level when your all done. The tag axle is just a cap with a gasket so that’s super easy.
