Thanks for your review! Unfortunately my phone does not have a good image stabilization. Looking at your 4k footage with I.S. off it doesn't seem smooth enough. I think that, with my phone, I'm better off with a better (more expensive) gimbal. Would you agree?

If your phone doesn't have ok image stabilization software I would recommend getting a better gimbal. I should note that I did do a walking test with this gimbal using my old Samsung Galaxy S8 from 2017 and it did a pretty good job stabilizing the image on that one too. The S8 was leagues worse than my ASUS Zenfone 9 in terms of image stabilization but still good enough with the HQ3 for fairly smooth video.

Update pls on how long the battery lasts. Planning to buy one for my europe trip, my concern is the battery. We will be out the whole day.

I haven't done a full battery test on this unfortunately. I can tell you that I have used it for a solid two hours and the battery was still at 75% according to the indicator.

'musta again Jasel. I've just completed a battery test. Keep in mind i just had it on with my phone attached sitting on my desk and left it on from a full charge so it will likely be less battery with the gimbal moving around more. It lasted 6 hours before the battery died. I imagine you'll get a solid 4-5 hours with active use.

@@FbfbFbfb-g1h if your looking for the cheapest gimbal the Axnen HQ3 is a better buy. However feature wise the Feiyu VB4SE is objectively better with a lot more functionality. It's a lot more expensive as well though

This model is for mobile phones. I wouldn't advice a camera for this. Better off getting another gimbal specifically for that

can you start and stop recording with the gimbal? or do you have to start/stop it touching the phone?

It comes with a separate Bluetooth remote that can start and stop recording. The gimbal itself doesn't connect to the phone

This model doesn't connect to the phone at all. It comes with a bluetooth remote that connects to your phone so you can start and stop a video recording/take a photo without touching you're phone

I found this a very interesting video. I'd actually just ordered one and THEN decided to check out KZbin reviews but this seems to be just what I'm looking for. As far as tracking goes I can use my normal gimbal for that - just take both out on a 'shoot'.

I know Axnen has a slightly more expensive tracking version but then you have to use the axnen camera app. With phones having so many awesome features in their built in camera apps these days it nice to be able to use your own camera app with this gimbal

I'm waiting on a couple of refunds and a payment due to arrive this week before I send off for it but after watching videos like yours, the rather simplistic style of video filming I was going to use for my next video has now evolved into a flashy series of zoom and other camera effects.

Good day sir, is there any issue when using ultra wide angle lens? Some gimbal when using ultra wide, you can see the motor of gimbal at the side.

Yes this is an issue that I have experienced. Ultra wide you will catch a bit of the gimbal. I fixed it by moving the camera up but not ideal

I would say the Axnen F10 is better as it has a replaceable battery and you can connect it to your phone via bluetooth though I can't say whether the software/app for axnen is any good as I haven't tested it myself. Although it appears the app does support tracking and zoom with the gimbal so you don't need to do it on your phone directly which is a pretty nice touch. It is a bit more expensive. Maybe I'll grab one and do a review on if I can find it for a decent price. At the moment though you can find DJI Osmo Mobile on the used market for similar and even cheaper prices which would be a way better choice

I have a s21 ultra and mine keep spinning around!! Its either camera lens facing on the floor or it just spinning around! Is mine broken?

It might be broken but the ultra is the really big one. There is a size and weight limit to this gimbal. Might want to compare your phones specs vs what the gimbal is rated for

@88-bit-tech Thank you for giving this suggestion. I checked its rated 260g and the S21 Ultra is 220g. I may have to return this because the shipment from China takes forever for a replacement. It's such a shame since it's so cheap compared to the one in the US costing $150-200 🥹

The gimbal i got turns on and connect to Bluetooth but the motor does not move. It instead shows a permanent red light instead of the typical green. Is there fix to this? Thx

The hq3 doesn't have Bluetooth. Regardless, sounds like yours is defective. I'd contact the seller or aliexpress for a refund

Yes it is. At least, according to the product specifications. As long as your phone is less than 85 mm in width and less than 260 grams in weight it should work
