Handling of ride : Nitrogen filling ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ Moisture(ജലാംശം) ഇല്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ട്, tyre ചൂടാകുമ്പോൾ വരുന്ന pressure വ്യത്യസം കുറയും. 10°F ചൂട് മാറ്റം വരുമ്പോൾ 1psi മാത്രം ആണ് tyre pressure മാറുന്നത്. ഒരു city drive അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു normal speed-ൽ ഉള്ള ഏതൊരു drive ആയാലും 1psi/2psi pressure വ്യത്യാസം ഒരു മാറ്റവും handling കാര്യത്തിൽ വരുത്തുന്നില്ല. Racing, heavy equipments പോലുള്ള മേഖലയിൽ 1psi ഒരു വലിയ വ്യത്യാസം തരും, അവിടെ nitrogen filling ആണ് recommend ചെയുന്നത്. Oxidation of rims: Nitrogen ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് rim തുരുമ്പ് കേറില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ ശെരിയാകാം ഒരു പരിധിവരെ, പക്ഷെ rim-ന്റെ പുറം വശത്ത് സാധാരണ വായു കാരണം തുരുമ്പ് കേറില്ലേ? തുരുമ്പ് പിന്നെ ഒരു അറ്റത് തുടങ്ങിയാൽ മതിയല്ലോ.Alloy wheels ഇതിൽ ബാധിക്കപടുന്നില്ല എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. Leak of air: Nitrogen താരതമ്യേനെ വലിയ mocules തന്നെ. പക്ഷെ nitrogen leak ആയി പോകില്ല എന്നു പറയാൻ ഒരിക്കലും സാധിക്കില്ല. സാധാരണ air ആയി താരതമ്യം ചെയ്താൽ ഒരു നേരിയ മാറ്റം ആണ് leak ആയി പോകുന്ന pressure-ൽ ഉള്ളത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് nitrogen അടിച്ചാൽ, അടിച്ച പോലെ അവിടെ കിടന്നോളും എന്ന് തറപ്പിച്ചു പറയാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല. അപ്പോൾ എന്തായാലും കാറ്റ് അടിക്കണം, എങ്കിൽ പിന്നെ ഫ്രീ ആയി കിട്ടുന്ന air അടിച്ച പോരെ. 2 / 3 തവണ കൂടുതൽ അടിച്ചാലും നഷ്ടം ഒന്നും ഇല്ലല്ലോ. Oxdiation ഒഴികെ മേൽപറഞ്ഞത്, ലോക പ്രസിദ്ധ tyre നിർമാതാവ് continental tyres അവരുടെ website-ൽ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളത് ആണ്. " Tire inflation pressure can rise and fall with changes in ambient temperature by about one psi (pound per square inch) for every 10 degrees Fahrenheit. For normal everyday consumer tire service applications, nitrogen tire inflation is not required. However, nitrogen tire inflation does not harm tires and may marginally contribute to reductions in tire inflation loss by permeation. Nevertheless, nitrogen will not prevent any tire inflation loss caused by punctures, tire/rim interface (bead) leaks, valve leaks, valve/rim interface leaks, wheel leaks, and other mechanical leaks. Again, the use of nitrogen alone does not substitute for the importance of regularly checking tire inflation pressure. If the tire inflation pressure is below the pressure specified on the vehicle placard, the tire must be re-inflated - whether with air or nitrogen - to the proper inflation pressure." Thank you sir. Very good to hear. There is a misconception that when Hyundai cars are compared with other cars Hyundai cars are considered as downgraded or second standard version. But when I goes through feature list, Hyundai cars are far ahead in the price segment, Means less price but feature packed. So what is your thoughts about that. For example when Alcazar is compared with Innova many are preferred Innova even though Alcazar having all luxury feature and less price tag. On the other hand Innova missing out the features such are 360 view, line change camera and many other, In fact which are really practical safety requirements. On the maintenance side both are little expensive than other common models. Can you please share some opinions about this brand based car selection and feature based car selection.

Dear sir. I was your regular viewer. As per your recommendation I bought a used 2012 model petrol automatic skoda superb. Excellent car. Recently instead of petrol they wrongly filled diesel in my car. After some days I got starting issues in the vehicle. I changed petrol pump. Still issue not solved. Company now says to change the pump inside the fuel tank. But they are not sure about it. I left my car in Skoda service center for 3 days, but they couldn't identify the issue. Normal Atmospheric Air has 78% of Nitrogen in it. As the molecule size of Nitrogen is high, other gases leak faster. Effectively making near to 100% Nitrogen when you refill the tyre many times. We are not on racing tracks. In normal driving conditions, Nitrogen makes no noticeable difference.

When nitrogen was available in our area, I would happily drive a few km to fill my cars with only nitrogen. When I started going for long drives, like Ladhak or Bhutan etc., I bought Blaupunkt TPMS for my Skoda Yeti. After a couple of years, I bought one for my Audi sedan too. My experience as a user: Both nitrogen and normal air expand after you drive for a while, more in summer. But nitrogen is slightly better by max 2 PSI. Air pressure variation between wheels is plus/minus one PSI in both cases. Air leakage is similar in both cases. Yes, the advantage of nitrogen being dry could be a plus point, but no other significant advantage of using nitrogen. So much so that I stopped visiting pumps for filling nitrogen. I use a portable pump for filling normal air myself. Hope, I'm not disappointing supporters of nitrogen 🙏

I second you. Never felt any difference. Nitrogen filling is more of a scam. If one doesn't have TPMS, just check/refill air weekly or fortnightly.
