Price is better performance is unnecessary and the temp are better

I actually have the opposite opinion, regarding the display resolution choices. There's really no reason to get the 1440p model, considering the 6-inch footprint; I'm genuinely not sure you can even pixel peep enough to tell the difference. Unless they've purposely sourced a terrible 1080p display intentionally, it would be perceivably just as good. Less pixels to push for the SoC too. Also, I would imagine the majority of people are okay upscaling their retro games to 1080p and calling it a day.

Ayaneo and Qualcomm need to update the graphics drivers for the G3X cuz the Odin 2 is MUCH better at Switch emulation currently.

They just rolled out the ability to unbrick with a firmware recovery. So I do believe this is coming soon as well as improved emulation.

But it's so expensive!

yes and I hope they can drive down the cost.

Yes they're trying to outdo Anbernic with a release schedule I think. I'm more into smaller than bigger so for me I think pocket S but I'll probably change my mind once I actually play this who knows

@@deadfred69 Of course... The price and software update and maintenance they kept on disregard... Other than that the aesthetic of their execution is like Apple of Handheld... 😎

Curious why you feel the Odin 2 is better? I am debating between this and Odin 2 mini ? Would you say the yuzu in its current state plays better on this or Odin 2 ? Have you tried winlator? Also battery life, what kind of SOT are you achieving? Is there any scope for portable clip on battery packs like you can for the switch. Thank you

With the Odin 2, u don't have to spend extra making it ergonomic. U would still have to fork out for that case to make it more comfortable. Also, the drivers for this device are not at a mature state yet. Odin 2 is cheaper and a much better value device. But hey, different strokes for different folks. Each to their own, if it works for u, then thats all that matters.

love this POV. This is what I want more opinions and views. I have mad respect for Ayn and Odin line but I am just a sucker for svelte form factor.

@deadfred69 I hear u, that's a good-looking device. I will pick efficiency and ergos over looks, but that's just me. I also feel at the price of any Ayaneo device, u going into x86 territory. Now, for me, that's a tough pill to swallow. Especially with the Steam Deck LCD now on sale. But I guess that's a different topic all together.

yes I made that statement in my review . to choose Odin 2 only because it can emulate somewhat better loses that edge with PC gaming coming down in price. A used ROG Alley at 450 is a better deal.

where can I get that case, which you’re using?
@deadfred693 ай бұрын
it is from Ayaneo. Should have it available on their Indiegogo campaign page
