Honestly, I feel that most middle school teachers just don’t care. I remember a few good teachers, but most didn’t give a crap. I can see how frustrated you’re getting at how Illy was being treated, and that’s exactly how I felt through out the whole video. It shows that others do view that kind of behavior as harmful and horrible, which is good to see since I remember being in Illy’s situation in middle school.

I was bullied from kindergarten until high school and middle school was the worst, Im autistic and I was called fat, ugly, stupid ect. And when I got physically attacked by the group of girls who’d been bullying me all throughout middle school, I went to the principal like several other times and just like before they told me to ignore them too. So the next day my mom and me went down to the principal’s office and told them “that if they didn’t do anything to punish them other than talk, she’d sue for failing to protect her daughter!” It was awesome! Because the next day guess who got suspended for 1-2 weeks 🥳.Also a side note it didn’t help that my father was physically, mentally and sexually abusive to me and my parents were in the process of a vicious divorce; my self esteem was shattered between the bullies and my dad all calling me ugly, fat, stupid, ect.

Honestly it’s awful to know that most school systems don’t care. I got groped in school and since I decided to shove the boy away, he went to a staff member that “knew him well”. At the end of the day, this lady who still works at that school with children, told me I was in the wrong for defending myself. She wouldn’t let my guardian come pick me up either and even told me not to say anything going forward because “he’s a bright student” with “a good future”.

Mine didn't think I was the bully, but I kid you not even I say they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to liberate me from the emotional and mental hell of the stress and anxiety of being bullied. Even in 4th grade when my mom demanded my seat be changed away from them at a Parent Teacher Conference, my homeroom teacher (was one of my favourite teachers) did do it but was careless and already forgot about it after a while.

You had it lucky... I had bullies so bad in middle school that I would go to my parents for advice, and they'd generally make me feel better about myself, but never really called in the school to stop the bully. I told my teachers about it, and they did nothing. I went to my counselor, and she did nothing. I went to the principal, and HE did nothing, even threatening me to stop tattling so much, and to go back to my teachers for help if it's "that small of a problem." It got so out of control, the only way I could get some peace was to resort to calling in an IEP meeting (I'm autistic) to FORCE everyone to listen to my side of the story.

My mom never said ignore bullies. Play smarter not harder. I kinda mentally tortured my bullies because they learned fast that the kid that's seen as the good quiet kid. Becomes unstoppable. And also for the time has access to their master key that opens all their lockers so you can move stuff and have their stuff taken without them able to do nothing

This honestly hurt to watch. When I had to deal with bullies I honestly had a bit of a fuse. Teachers only really got involved because I probably started yelling at somebody in the middle of class. If it happened out of class, my instinct was to beat on everyone. Not saying to immediately use violence, but once I stood up for myself bullies left me alone.

I was bullied many ways (bullies can be very imaginative, when they think new tactics to bully others), for 11 years of my life. From kindergarten to second year of vocational school (when i was 19-21 years old). Even i ask help, no one helped me, and when i asked, bullies find out that, i got bullied even more. So, i choose to stop asking help, sense it didn't help me, and i started skip many class, to avoid bullies. Also, in that time, i had only one "friend", who was ashamed to be my friend. So he didn't want that anyone see him walk with me in outdoors, so he always told me, to walk about 10 meters before me, he said that we cannot talk about anything to each other, if someone see us, etc. And we both lived in small city, so gossip's spread quickly. And about me, those gossips were often, because bullies from other schools, in that small city, start to bullied me too back in days.

Teachers need to learn to care. They always think the victim is in the wrong or, "Has no real evidence," even if they do, and it's just awful. One KZbinr's phone exploded because of all the mean texts she got, she started feeling suicidal, cutting herself, and becoming depressed. Hey my name is Max and i relate to that VERY MUCH This is my story..... i got really bullied in Middle School , i was the new kid with a group of 4 friends which over the years have dropped to 1 friend that stayed by my side but wasn't friends enough with me to stop them . i got bullied for the way i look and because i had a crush and stuff , i was EXTREMLY skinny and it was easy to pick me up and one day one picked me up from my leg , spined and threw me far, i started crying and told everything to a teacher , they told me that they would talk with them , and the teacher just said ok so don't hurt this boy ..... THE END i'm still salty about that LIKE THATS ALL? but yeah people got fake accounts of me and started being rude to classmates and made it seem like i wrote those and i didn't even know about it until my classmate started bullying me and saying that I've been so rude. and it wasn't only in real life that i got bullied but also on the internet , i got death threats about how i should just die because they don't need me , i was depressed because of that and still kinda am now. i didn't stand up for myself but i didn't let it go any further but it didn't stop until High school , sadly first year of high school and there is a Science Teacher who i used to try and participate all the time and Every time i got it wrong she used to say how stupid and dumb i am and how this is so easy but my dumba*s can't think straight , she sometimes even made me participate even if i don't want to because i knew i didn't have the answer and if i got it wrong she would laugh at me and my classmates too.. , and that effected me a ton because now i'm 14 still in High school (last year) and i'm just never participating except for english class but i just am so scared of getting it wrong . 1 Year after that Science teacher came a new one.. this one was worse because he hated me because In Middle School There was this girl that was bullied and had mental problems people bullied her , i didn't and neither did my friend , she asked me to play with her tag and when she was the tag-ger she full on pushed me , when i got a little bit hurt i said why did you do this and then she went to her dad (the SCIENCE TEACHER) and said that i called her names and pushed her ... i had to go to a principal and they were so rude to me saying that it was my fault.. i got hate all the way , and The science teacher picked on me all the time because of that . Anyways this is too long so yeah just always have a good day please and thank you , i won't participate even if everything goes wrong i don't want anything to repeat anymore especially if no one can help so yeah Have a wonderful Year

If took me a long time to finally tell a teacher, there was definitely times where I wandered if it was me that was weird, which I now know is not healthy. It’s because I joined the school later than everyone else in my class like I joined the school grade 2, so they already knew each other except me and the class you had you were stuck with for until you left or graduated. So I ended being closer to either younger kids or older kids in the same school.

I got bullied online in middle school for making a reference to a video I saw. the girls claimed that I "stole that idea from someone" when I included on the description that it was a reference so I took it down. but yeah- that sucked cuz I thought if I mentioned the exact video I was referencing I wouldn't get bullied. instead they accused me of plagiarism when I wasn't saying that it was my idea but it was a reference to someone else's idea and I gave that person full credit but they still accused me and brought it up with the school and y'know what the school did? they gave me a full week of detention because they felt, "it would de escalate the situation if they did what the girls asked" yes they did that, no joke😑

I remember my dad calling my teacher out cause of my excessive bullying back in elementary, telling her she ain’t doing her job as a teacher cause most of the things I tell him are way different of what the teacher saw and my class, sucks she didn’t get fired but she was an awful teacher, hell for the entire year she put my desk next to hers which is embarrassing and supposed to help me get away from the bullies BULLSHIT I was forced to see my bullies laugh at me and she told me to just look away and ignore em, my dad decided to get to the principal and what the principal did was move me to another class room for the next last 2 months of six grade, wish it lasted longer but those 2 months are the best time I was in 6th grade

If your friend is the one that's bullying you see who you have made friends with so far and maby it's because they think they're useless so maby spend time with them. But if it's not your friends, learn martial arts and defend yourself. (I mean that's what I do)

Oh no, and I find it even worse that I relate to Illy on SO many levels, like even the non-bullying stuff 😂 But it's sad that I relate to the bullying problem on a huge level, like NO teachers ever helped or at least not effectively and it infuriates me to this day. I'm in my junior year of high school, and you wanna know how long I was bullied by the same girls every year?? From around 3rd or 4th grade, and it didn't stop until we graduated 8th grade and went to different schools. Honestly, I think I might be both emotionally and mentally scarred from the bullying for so long every single day of school for several years. If not for my best friends and my impossibly strong patience, I would've snapped then and even now, though I bottle stuff up and developed an extreme social anxiety, I'm deep down emotionally unstable and I know that. I played once in a mobile game that take place right after WWII. You take care of an adopted child. Almost every day the kid will come to you after school with dirty clothes, broken stuff, or saying that some other kids peed on them. Or askid what words like barstard or s*ut mean, cause people are calling them that. Or that teacher is mean to them too. The worst is no matter what you do it's only getting worse. You can't stop the bulling because people at school just don't care about that. It's only a game but as I dont have kids and I'm student myself this gave me whole new perspective. That was probably the first time I was thinking so much about my life or society while playing a game

I remember a newer story when I has a bully for a Spanish teacher,side note I have a somewhat bad studder,it's better then it was befor but not fully gone*so she was new,she started teaching the same year I started 9th grade wixh I'm in now.She hated me more then other students but everyone had a problem with her,so one day after like 3 months of this bad teaxher,we had an assignment were we had to have a conversation with a script with our seat patterns,so befor we started I reminded her about it,she sid it was ok and to now worry....but the second I studderd she grabbed the paper out of my hand then said VARY LOUDLY"dose any one els wana actually talk* I got so passed that I walked up to her and warned her if this ever happened again I wil pick up my stuff..walke out and will not be returning...she had the nerve to say*don't talk to me like that*and I said..well...you don't deserve any respect after this so the next day it happen again..and like I told her,I picked up my stuff and left.i went to the principal and demanded to be moved classes and if I did not then I would skip that class every day,she said ok and now I'm in a better class,whenever she walks int my new class I will walk out untill she leaves I never wana talk to her again

I apologize a lot at work I mean usually the bread slicer at my job is well iffy, so it’ll pull on the bread a bit which makes it look weird or once a customer wanted some French bread to be sliced, about half way the bread went the wrong way instead of side ways it got cut up right. That customer wasn’t happy but it wasn’t exactly my fault it was out of my control. ( some people just get upset for how bread looks if it doesn’t look perfect or if it isn’t up right I get talked to about it even though it isn’t my fault. There are people who are like it’s just bread it’s still going to taste good despite what the bread slicer did.)

Y’all mind if I vent? If you don’t, you can just ignore my comment I have ADHD but, my parents refuse to believe that and blame me for what my ADHD does to me. They say stuff like “I don’t want to hear that crap” and “you’re fine” which is not okay but I don’t know what to do. Which causes me to have PTSD and it scares me to even tell anyone anything about me bc I went down that path many times before… I would tell my mom that something she did bothered me, and she’d yell at me on how I should respect her. I would tell her about my phobias and how something creeped me out and she’d give me a dirty look. I’d tell her the reason why I can’t focus and my parents would say “you’re fine” started moving on into depression and refused to talk to anyone about this and instead, help other people with their problems. Then, I started being rebellious. And I started taking my sadness out on punching walls and because I can’t hit my mom(bc she’s my mom), I started punching myself and crying myself to sleep. I literally told my mom that I was being called fat and ugly and she did nothing but ignore it. I have no idea what to do and I’ve started comforting myself in different character voices that I made. I started giving myself pep talks and saying the reason why I was sad to myself. I feel like I’m going crazy and I can’t keep quiet any more, I don’t want to be that friend who is ignored or is the “happy” friend that everyone uses as a therapist. I hope I wasn’t too annoying with my vent😅
