Yeah I'm definitely glad this car was certified to at least a 6 second range AND also glad that Richie Crampton did all the tubing inside of it! Guy is a master fabricator... so hopefully Ayden will be right back at it in no time! Really glad he's okay! Hopefully, he just needs some ibuprofen and a bit of moral support. Kid is a damn good driver! ...plus, if you can drive the Shitbox..you can drive anything!!

@Tyson Henry I think youre absolutely correct, car gets out of the groove, left tire starts slipping on the dirty track right tire keeps pushing forward rotates the car to the left. he was probably turning more and more to the right to stay in the groove but as soon as he lets off the throttle the weight shifts forward and the front tires gain traction and suddenly turns the car drastically to the right. glad to hear Aydan was ok

I am sure glad Aydan is okay! I am a big fan of Tom's and I can't imagine what it was like to watch your own kid go through that crash. As for the car..... we know that car has a very unique history in past drag & drive events and that is why Tom bought the car. Everyone involved agreed that it needed to stay in the drag & drive world of racing. I have not seen the car since Aydan's crash but it will be interesting to see if they repair the it AGAIN.

Thought of the water pump myself. I raced a much slower car for a while. One thing I learned for sure is how important every little detail can be. The smallest little thing can cause a lot of damage. Our motto was ignore nothing. If it's broke you got to fix it like your life depended upon it cuz it might, even if it seems unrelated to overall safety.

Dang, not a good week for the Bailey's despite putting on a great event. Glad no injuries, very scary. Quite cars spinning the tires at the top end and crashing at very high speeds during this event. That's a bit concerning.

Hard to say why. All of these tracks run very very fast cars (like 5 second cars and pro mods) with 0 issues. So its hard to say exactly why this is happening.

Yeah he got out of the groove, so it pulled him to the wall, when he lifted he had a lot of wheel in it causing it to catch and roll. It was mainly do to inexperience, he should have lifted at the 1/8 or at least rolled out of the throttle to regain control but you don't know what you don't know. Thank god he is ok.
