There are many great 22 rifle options on the market today but Henry's 22 lever action carbine rifle just might be one of the most versatile and best overall values on the market today. Watch this video to find out why...

Had my new Henry carbine at the range yesterday, and a young 10-year old boy in the next lane was fascinated by it. I asked his father if it was okay if he shot it, and got approval. Spent about ten minutes going over the ins and outs, and then let him try a tube full. He got a nice grouping at ten yards, and we were both quite happy. I think I know what he is going to asking for at Christmas this year. :-)

I have this gun in a youth model. It makes the handiest lil carbine. This is what I did... First I put sling swivels on... A rifle without a sling is like a pistol without a holster Next I leather wrapped the lever...So comfortable... big difference Went with that for a while Then a little later I ordered the saddle ring receiver cover Now It looks as sweet as it shoots I put a strip of leather on the ring so I can stop the ring from slamming against the receiver as I walk I can hang on to strip of leather and with my lever hand

I've had more fun with my Henry carbine than any gun I own...and I own a lot lol. It's so light and easy. Plus it will drive nails 👍. I'm going to teach my 10 year old daughter to shoot this spring with it. I may even give it to her. I got a full size Henry 22 that's never even been shot. I had so much fun with the large loop carbine that I never bothered with the full size one I have

@@chadhaire1711 Wow, why so angry? Yes, the Japanese ones are made to more exacting standards and cost a LOT more for that quality. Sometimes, people would just prefer to support American companies. Other times, it doesn't matter and they just want a superior product and are willing to pay for it. It's okay to be proud of your country and I sincerely doubt that you would have said that mean statement to his face. Only, a rude, ugly, small minded person would do that. I just bought my first Henry; is my 2nd 22; also my second leaver action however my first Henry. I have always been a huge fan of leaver actions, there’s something about southpaws and leaver actions that go hand in-hand, that’s just the way it is. Having said that I must admit that I have always been a Marlin man. And I thought it would always be that way, I am glad that Henry made a working mans gun! I’m glad not everything has to be “golden” from them, I never thought I would buy Henry, yet I have one now, thanks for expanding to something I would want; good quality without the “Cadillac” price tag. Henry deserves a TON of credit for making this move and yes they make one H*ll of a rifle!!!!!

@@jasonstewart3748 what is a 39A? Also 3600 is very steep. In my book! I paid about 600$ plus some fees for having it shipped to a FFL, and all of that. I have that Henry .22 and a couple of savages a Mark II TR and a FVT all so had a single shot and a semi auto they all shot much better groups than the Henry, the Henry is a fun gun to shoot but hard to take down to clean compared to the bolt action and I all so have a Marlin 444 leaver witch is also much simpler to take down and clean. I am of the old school where you clean your guns every time you use them. The fit and finish on the Henry was very good on the out side, but when I took it apart was not to pleased as the finish on the inner parts marked up way to easy, and the bluing came off in several places. As I said if you want a fun little gun for shooting cans and steel it is great, but when you put it on paper not so good, for tight groups. I would also want some thing more accurate for hunting. I thought I might of just got a bad one but when I look at some of the videos the groups are not that great. But again it is a fun gun for plinking, if you do not mid the extra time for cleaning it properly.

BonesTheCat I’m also torn between the youth and carbine model but I decided I’m going to go with the youth model because it’s 1” shorter in the stock and as far as the big loop goes you really don’t need it unless you have massive meat hands or you plan on wearing heavy gloves in the winter time. I live out in Az so I won’t need any gloves at all. I want the smallest rifle lever action 22lr I can find and the youth model is it.
