Smiling throughout this post and “Video reviews” and “hello darkness my old friend” made me snort a little, like after resurfacing :) The camaraderie from shared passions, whatever that may be, helps create a sense of belonging to a community or perhaps a coterie (positive) and pulls those of us who lean contently towards the slightly more introverted, misanthropic (Lbh, humans do a lot of awful things to each other, animals and Earth) end of the spectrum back to the center. As does various genres of comedy including parody. Thanks!

this happened to me, fell head over heels in love with a diver in Koh Tao 2014, we had a great time together.Today I work as a commercial diver in Norway. The water does not have the same temperature here. And we say good visibility is anything over 6-9 centimeters.

Lol I started scuba in 1988... Became a commercial diver in 1989... I had built up a collection of dive gear that could fill a scuba shop, then sold it all and started flying airplanes fighting wild fires. I talked about diving to a friend (that's more of a sister from another) so much that she got cert'ed, and once again inside 2 months we ended up with more scuba gear then the dive shop! Lol

You left out expansion of all internal gasses upon surfacing. It's not a big deal as there's plenty of fresh air and a breeze. If you barf underwater, keep your reg in and enjoy the fish feeding frenzy.

Hahaha, the more realistic video compared to the romantizied version of PADI. There's more to diving than just tropical ocean destinations though. When diving at home don't forget to mention the house being littered with drying equipment and smelling damp neoprene 🤣

Believe it or not you can even pee in your dry suit. I wear a Fourth Element under garment that is so thick and absorbent that once, when I couldn't hold it any longer, it came through like a champ.
