Juat watched this video on a cold wet UK day (all the way through as well lol) along with loads of others and my tip for cleaning the radiator is using one of those underbody attachments for the jet wash, has the angle to get it down the back of the rad easy. Thanks for the great videos.

Cheers mate! Noticed that whatever fluids you do you hardly ever mention the exact amount of oil/fluid that needs to go in. Am I right that the J150 takes about 14liters? Given how expensive that coolant is it would help to know how much to order + a little extra

Coolant is 8 litres he said

My coolant level hasn't gone down from the "B" line on my 2010 hilux after I had my radiator changed last month. No overheating so far, but not sure if this is a major problem. Anybody experienced the same thing? Couldn't find any info online.

I have since new a 120 Prado 2009 with 435,000 kms. I have turbo noise and low compression in number 4 cylinder. (got report from mechanic) Looks like dust got into the turbo. I know I probably need turbo and engine replacement but would like to get a second opinion. Engine has carbon build-up and I think this has lead to stuffing up the turbo although it still drives fine. Does anyone know mechanic / engine fitter in Victoria or if you could advise where I could get some advice I live about an hour and a half from Melbourne. (wish I had come across these excellent videos before now) Thanks.

Does the 1gr Prado need a front engine job? Have you done one before? Is there much difference?
@Fourby4Diesel3 жыл бұрын
It’s got a timing chain in the engine which will eventually fail and be a massive big for an engine job until then I just need to drive belts and idler bearings every now and then depending how much off-road you use it
