BJ Thomas has been & will always be one of my favorite singers! I was blessed to see hear & dance to BJ great music when he first started out in Texas in a small town East Bernard, Texas at Riverside Hall there’s where BJ & the Triumphs was a local band of talented guys in the surrounding towns like Needville, Rosenberg & Houston Texas & when BJ sang I’m so lonesome I could die we all knew BJ would get his chance to be one of the greatest singers of all time! When you’re a young teenager you will never forget what a legend BJ Thomas would become & I wasn’t wrong! It’s been over three years of BJ’s passing & that was a sad day for all of us who got to see BJ perform & now we have all the beautiful memories that will forever stay with all of us! Thank You BJ for all the beautiful memories! Rest in Heavenly Peace BJ 🙏♥️😊🤗

First saw B J Thomas at a Dick Clark actin show in Orlando, Fl 1967 Didn't know who he was but when he stepped up to the mic and sang a Hank William song, I'm so lonesome I could cry, the hair stood up on my neck. Wow! Still has it.
