*_Man. I can hear the man uttering the words in Japanese as he's feeling the burn of high heat from his hands. Hope he gets better gloves next time! For his health and simplicity!_* *_Thanks for the video! Great machine!_*

Just what the hell happened ? Some sort of Japanese witchcraft just magically transformed the rice into mochi.
@Jonsonsama6 жыл бұрын
Mochi is just glutinous rice though.

Yeah some rice varietes are designed for sticky treats
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE TWO COOL PEOPLE HITTING IT WITH A HAMMER AND SLAPPING IT WITH THEIR HANDS?!? Hand-made mochi >> strange machine-made mochi

Juan Pablo Robayo lol ik but you gotta put into thought these are elderly who probably don’t got enough strength to dealing with that when this is much easier

Kace agreed. For old people this would certainly be a life saver. I should’ve remembered them as a possible target marketable population. Hopefully I didn’t come across as ageist.

I dont even know what mochi is but this looks satisfying
@miaomiao076 жыл бұрын
It can be made with glutinous rice flour and water. After it is made, we sometimes dip into crumbled peanuts. Japan and Taiwan mochi may have red bean paste, sasame paste inside as filling.

Miao Miao so we can eat it with whatever according to our taste right? Dont know much abt japanese food but the texture and look of this really gets me
@miaomiao076 жыл бұрын
@@dua_137 usually it is eaten with something sweet. Haha ya perhaps you could try to get it from your area if there's Japan shop I guess! :) the Mochi can be sold in small packaging or in a box too.

It cooks the rice like a steamer and then paddles it until smooth *that's so cool and satisfying* 😛 Would be a great gift since making mochi is really hard work.
All I can think about is everything on his gloves that stuck to the mochi
@justinluc25726 жыл бұрын
Dunno how it works, but my best guess is that the high steam cooks the rice so that the flavors aren't lost and keeps the starch, and the rocking motions of the bowl are able to slowly smoosh the cooked rice kernels together because japanese rice is inherently sticky and soft. combined with the extra starch and softness of the rice, the rocking motions are entirely practical. I never knew it could be done like this. I always thought you needed a hammer and a pair of hands.
