Hi guys. My name is Cristian and I live in Italy. I have seen a lot of videos with this salesman of japanese kitchen knives . I can assure you that here a knive like this you can't find or maybe you have to pay a lot of money. Is really very cheap and a reason must be. Thank you for your post!!!!
Please, who makes does knives (which blacksmith or cooperative)? And which steel do they use for core and outside? Thank you very much.

I don't know who makes them. I also interested in it. It's all carbon steel knife. There are no difference of core and outside.

研ぎやTOGITOGI thank you. Do you know if they are hand forged or just cut by machine?

it seem not be forged. cut the carbon steel plate by machine.

研ぎやTOGITOGI Thanks. Now I seem you added the English subtitles, I can understand you better. If you’d like to check my sharpening channel sometime, it’s @70aocubo (I have to add English subtitles to it), currently it’s very small and only in Portuguese. Cheers from Brazil, keep up the great work.

@@faverodefavero Sakai Naojirou. I assume they're made in Sakai (legally a knife cannot bear the name Sakai unless it's made in Sakai). It really looks like it's a completely stock removal knife, doesn't seem like there's any distal tapering (a step that contributes to cost), and the fact that it's not san-mai and made from mystery steel is probably why it's so cheap.
