I've been binging your videos for about 2 weeks! Your knowledge/commentary is great. It's like if Collin Farrell's character from The Gentlemen is teaching me about the outdoors. Would love to see you collab with TA Outdoors one day. Thanks for the videos!!

I bought one 13 days ago and haven't received one communication on shipping/tracking. Even if it arrives, I will never buy from them again. But.....during those 13 days, I have been bombarded with 16 email advertisements and 12 texts from them trying to sell me more. I definitely will be unsubscribing after (if) my jacket arrives. From what I hear they are made in China but I bought socks from China and had them shipped to me in Eastern Canada in under 10 days.

That jacket combo looks good, but I have too many others already to be spending money on yet another one. (The side pockets on that ruck look a bit dodgy for keeping those taller bottles in place, have to say.)

(thanks to the camera-person to feature the real star of the show (Bruno) ;) Gotten me a (cheaper) pendant from Switcher; similar features (little lower breathability); kinda good, too - just not as many pockets, sadly enough. (two frontpockets, that's it; would have wished for an arm-pocket for reflector-bands and such. but i can live with it (especially for a price below 90 CHF)

Hi Wooly, I'm trying to decide whether to get the medium or the large. I'm 5.8 and a 44in chest. I would like them to fit neatly but not tight. What would you recommend?
@RedBranchBushcraft2 ай бұрын
I'm wearing medium, I'm 5 foot 7 and a 39 inch chest if that helps, there's plenty of room left in the medium for me

This is very close , a very well made comfy pack , don't think it will replace the Berghaus Spartan though, I'll probably keep them both

Curious what you think value for money wise? They are having a rather dubious 65% off sale (because I don't think that jacket combo is worth the full price of C$600) but I am not sure it is worth the C$250 that the sale price offers. Seems kind of expensive for a hoodie and a waterproof jacket. I feel like I could find a nice Helly Hansen or other quality products for the same or bettter price. Great video and really appreciate your insight!
@RedBranchBushcraft2 ай бұрын
that does seem very steep in price compare to here , if i had to pay that much id be looking at something goretex
@markbailey152 ай бұрын
The combo fleece and outer jacket costs just under £140 atm, which I think is about right for a quality combo jacket.

Am I the only one to get a POS BS hoodie? The one that is as wind proof as a screen door, with ‘Velcro tabs’ that may as well not be there. As for the elastic locking barrels, totally useless, indeed I replaced them all with my own. Oh and I received the BS hoodie 3 months after I ordered it and only after numerous emails. Fair to say the best thing about the BS hoodie is the ziplock bag it came in. Seriously don’t get fleeced!
