気質你用的英文苗述都不對的，因為氣質係天生的，不是carry yourself so well! 又不一定𠕇class, 有grace, 有elegance就有氣質，而沒有class, 不grace, 不elegance都可以𠕇気質。temperament is the right word to describe. Or a distinct temperament. 樣靚都不一定有那種distinct temperament 因為沒有就沒有，係天生的気質，包括那些談吐舉指

Instead of saying fat, you can also say "oversized."

Oversized might be a more appropriate word used on clothing. For example: Oversized Tee/ Hoodie/ Blazer etc... Using it on people might sound a tad offensive though... Reckon Plus-size might be a better word. 😊

It's offensive to call someone chubby. No one likes to be called chubby or told they have a chubby face. Calling someone chubby is essentially calling someone fat. You may describe someone as chubby behind their back. It's offensive to call someone fat even behind their back. I guess that's the difference between chubby and fat.

I have never heard of native speakers saying "Your skin is fair". "Your skin is fair" is essentially speaking Chinese. A fair complexion is just a person's feature, and you would never compliment someone's fair complexion in English. It's so wrong to learn English while thinking in Chinese and try to speak Chinese in English.

很好的解释了英文。只是有一点，young在美语中是可以形容成年人年轻的。比如，you look young，就是形容你看起来年轻，没有naive的意思。我生活在美国，还特意咨询了美国人。

You don‘t look your age (通常是知道對方歲數或大約年齡時，確是如此說）。聽過不少美國人說對方看起來很年輕時，仍是會說 You look young ! ? 若說人不成熟幼稚（You look like a baby, or a big baby)。Naive 是明顯的罵人。

美國和西方國家白人的皮膚天生就是白色(fair complexion)，所以根本沒有人説your skin looks fair。香港人皮膚比較黑，女士們喜歡做皮膚漂白(facial treatment)，所以如果你讚她皮膚白(fair),她很歡喜。

Air of quality, air of erudition, air of nobility, air of good upbringing, air of refinement and beauty, etc., English speaking people do not use those terms that much. There is really no equivalent phrase. Modern English speaking Americans think that it is a sign of snobbishness so it is not that positive in connotation. The communist world does not like that either. There is a cultural difference.

Melody 提供廋的英文包括 skinny 纖瘦，骨廋如柴，fit 好身裁(肥廋適中)，slim 苗條，thin 廋削，slender 苗條或身型高廋。讚人可用slim 或 slender 為佳。

唔好話英文，就算中文「有氣質」我都唔肯定係乜嘢意思。事關有朋友話介紹個女仔我識，話佢好「有氣質」，其他幾個common friends都係咁話。當我見到佢真人時，我就知道「有氣質」不一定等於靚，係一個好abstract 同主觀嘅詞。於是我就學會「有氣質」其實係冇乜意思😂，更可能有「平平無奇」嘅隱意😂

Don't comment on friends' weights ,male or female. Don't suggest weight lost to siblings who are normally don't accept advices. Encourage them to do exercises to improve strength and heart conditions(without mentioning over eating). Same with spouses n mates. Even doctors don't use them. "You need to improve on your BMI by exercising and restrict your foods intake." Body to Mass Index.

In western societies where obesity is common, mentioning of body weight is very sensitive. In Hong Kong (or other Asian countries perhaps) where obesity is less common, it is not so sensitive to hear friends say "You put on weight (你發福)". In HK it is socially acceptable to address friends by nickname as "肥婆/肥佬" (Fatty). Asian and western cultures are different.

Melody 小姐好，劇塲形式十分有趣。你皮膚白淨英文可說 your skin is fair, 相反是your skin is dark (黝黑)，tanned (矖黑)不同dark因為dark skin 是天生成的。還有You look pale 是面色蒼白無血色。Your face is white as a sheet(面色白到似張紙)意思是極度蒼白，因爲身體不適或恐懼。
