Thank you for the simplified method of making enjera. I never ever made enjera and I’m embarrassed to ask anyone to help so it was great to see this simple steps. I shall attempt to make it and hopefully I’ll get decent enjera even if it won’t be as good as yours my lovely

Hi🙋♀️ let me try from my understanding... How to prepare Teff yeast - In a bowl put 2 cups of Teff flour - Mix it with cold water as we watched & let it be stay for 3 days How to make Teff dough - Have 10 cups of white Teff flour - Add the yeast & - Mix it with lukewarm water as we watched - Transfer the dough to the large container & pour extra water on top of the dough & let it be stay for 2 days. - After 2 days, drain the extra water from the dough & add fresh water on it again & wait for 1 day. - On the 3rd day drain the water from the dough. - On a pan boil cold water for "Absit" - To make the Absit take 2 ladle of Teff batter & mix it in a bowl with a small amount of water. - Pour the Teff batter on the boiling water & stir it until it becomes thicker. - Let it be cool down then mix it on the Teff dough - After you mix it, check the dough its thickness & thinness & put water carefully as we watched on the video. - Then let it be stay for 7 or 8 hours then, - Take out the extra water & save it separately in another container incase you might needed for the batter to mix with balance. Don't do the batter very thin because the metad won't cook it perfectly. So watchout! - Put your Mitad's temperature on 300° THEN - Just start the fun part😁

Hi ! Thank you for this video! I have a hard time making my injera soft, and flexible. Did you put yeast in the first starter mix? Also you said that not all teff types work well with making the part where you boil a portion of the dough. Please explain! I have used the darker teff, and it doesn't work plus it is dry and breaks up. Please share your recipe in close to exact measurements, please!! Thank you again!!! I really need help!!🙂
