Nice video. I was just thinking of Jokers Wild yesterday. I used to live in Vegas in the mid 90s and that and Tom's Sunset were 2 of the places I frequented. Good to see they still exist in some form. Got a sub, good job.

Back in 2001 my uncle and I had breakfast at Joker's Wild, and I asked for skim milk. They told me they only had "14% milk". He and I still joke about that to this day.

I did go out of my way to have a dink at The MINT Tavern which very creatively mimics the exterior (in miniature) of a legendary Vegas casino. I wouldn't call this bar a casino, but glad you included a shot of it. The inside was small, but classy, with a friendly bartender, and some really cool art on the walls.

You had me laughing out loud about the reviews of the one casino about finding hairs in the food and if you complain about it, they'll kick you out. I got to give you credit and kudos points for keeping the monotone voice dialog and straight face without bursting in laughter. It makes it all the more hilarious. All I could think about is a movie called Road Trip, french toast no sugar scene. My best friend and his wife are out there in Las Vegas right now for a winter vacation. I'm sending him a link to this video. I'll let him know he should go to the Bighorn Casino to eat. Maybe get some crabs there too! Lol!

Love your channel, and I will keep watching. 😁😁....I have a possible suggestion for you for a video……have you thought about doing videos on locations where they used to film TV shows meaning like Counts Kustoms, or pawn stars, or American restoration?( I am aware that a million things are filmed in Vegas but it's usually inside the casinos so this may have just been a fun idea for you to research and do)

Hubby and I vacationed in the Uk in 2016. A travel agency was across from Harrod's in the Knightbridge neighborhood. A big sign in the travel agency was promoting vacations in Las Vegas at a premier casino. The premium hotel casino was the El Cortez. We both laughed.
@georgebaillie53954 ай бұрын
You want to talk sketchy, I give you the Orbit Inn. Located in the 700 block of Fremont Street, its main attraction was the X rated theater next door. Don’t remember how I got wind of the joint but there I stayed back in the mid eighties. A casino a little larger than a phone booth and a pool suspended above the parking lot.

When I first moved here 1998, I lived in Henderson. Had to have some work done on my car, and it was on Boulder, down the street from Joker Wild. The car repair was to take a few hours, and the mechanic offered a ride home, but I chose Joker Wild to play some video poker. (back then, a lot of nickel poker was available) I remember it being a nice place, and I think I won a couple of bucks. When are you going to review Durango?

Am surprised you missed the Poker Palace in the 2700 Block of North Vegas Blvd. They have low priced slots and used to have ridiculous food specials. I heard one food server say,"that customer wants me to bring tabasco sauce with his order, where does he think he is, the Ritz Carlton? At so called sketchy casinos, it's a good idea to order basic food items as chefs may not be experienced with complicated faire.
@michaelsweaney389011 ай бұрын
Just a heads up. If you go there after dark, when you are leaving the casino to the parking lot to go to your car. I would estimate there is about a 75% chance you will be shot, stabbed, mugged or raped before make it to your car. Just sayin. 🤷♂️

My hubs and I were in Vegas last week, staying downtown, and we thought we’d check out the Gold Spike. Now that was weird! Not a soul in the place, besides two security guards and a DJ, no slot machines that we could see, but a huge backyard for playing in?? Not sure what that was about!

Even the 7/11 stores have slot machines. Would never go to Bighorn Casino. Jokers Wild is too far out of the way. Also, too far out of the way. Anyplace without table games isn't for me. Aztec Inn, passed by many times when I lived in Las Vegas. Never went inside. Like to go to off strip places such as Gold Coast, Sam's Town, Longhorn. Used to like San Remo, but, they sold out some time ago. Silver City closed some time ago too.

Thanks for this info. I have been to all the casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.. I have been at Eureka twice. I was around the area and I decided to check it out their 🎰. While I was there. A lady playing behind me won a jackpot. I'm pretty sure it was $2800. I thought she was lucky. The winner waited for a while until the staff come to paid her. Several minutes later. I heard the winning lady telling a maintenance lady. They paid me only $800 because I don't have documentation. What a steal!! They kept 2 k because someone is illegal. How many times they had done that? Countless probably. 👎👇
