Can't wait to rewatch this in a few months when our little one is ready. It's a travesty the kind of foods pushed on parents to feed their little ones. Great video guys. These are the things that only thorough research are you gona be aware of; the companies won’t tell, just sell. My pediatrician definitely told us to start our daughter (now toddler) on one food at a time, to have her try vegetables (not fruits) first and to not give her any grains until around the two year mark. People tend to think ok, these things are good for us, so why not, but like you said, a baby’s digestive system just can’t handle it. It’s no coincidence our children end up with the body mass of a 16 year old when they’re only like 10; it all can be traced back to nutrition, barring having any medical condition(s).

If I remember correctly, I believe Bobby said that it’s best to breast feed your baby for 2+ years plus. Plus, breast milk is WAY better than any formula you can possibly buy.
@abigaila73415 жыл бұрын
Fade Agreed. Breast milk is great. However, it doesn’t have everything. Unless momma is taking enough vitamin D, baby won’t get enough vitamin D. Pediatricians are now telling breastfeeding mommas to put vitamin d drops in breast milk when giving them a bottle to prevent rickets and the vitamin d in multivitamins are no where near enough to pass on to baby.
@Marylikealways5 жыл бұрын
Fade breast milk is better for the baby but some women can’t breastfeed. I couldn’t with my first and had to use formula. So this time around, if that happens again, I’d at least like to know what formula is the best option.

OMG, rose is so adorable. I got to say something about grain and babies. I live in Indonesia. Out here people feed their 6 months old babies rice porridge w/ veggies or fruit blended or mashed w/ a spoon. Most veggies is given to babies are carrots, sweet potato/yam and pumpkins. We also give our babies mung beans porridge. We don’t feed our babies meat until age of 1. I got 2 kids of my own ages 21 & 15.

This is all wonderful advice though I would suggest that we should listen to the over all advice of our pediatricians. Please don’t start your child on a diet without clearing it with them first. As a nurse, I can say some of this is unconventional and not at all backed up by quality science. Giving an infant meats so young can cause very bad constipation. It is the hardest thing for them to digest which is why it is the last thing introduced. This gives the infants digestive system some time to develop. I am interested in the introduction of broth at a young age. You should try and push foods off as close to 6 months as possible but an early introduction will not give your baby allergies at most it may be to much for an underdeveloped stomach to digest. This is all different for every baby so consult your pediatrician. They know your child best. I do love your videos. Your health tips are wonderful advice that seems to help many people. I for one love that you show people actual products that are good for them.

@MakeupbyKatB5 жыл бұрын
I'm not so sure about this video. It honestly goes against quite a few things that my daughter's (8 months) pediatrician has recommended. The latest research is showing that exposure to the early foods at 4 months is actually reducing the likelihood of allergies. The AAP recommends introducing allergen foods as early as 4-6 months. Yes, their diet should still be composed of milk at that point but introduction of it is what's important. Another things is that I don't agree with your recommendation of not starting cereals. Between the ages of 6-9 months, a baby's iron stores start to deplete, which is why an iron fortified cereal is recommended as one of baby's first foods by the AAP as well. Our doctor has also told us that legumes, eggs, etc is important starting at 9 months. Anyways, I would be intrigued as to where you all have gotten your information for this video. I do feel that this advice *could* be a little dangerous. But otherwise, I do love your videos!

Bobby is big on reading labels. When it comes to babies, we need to read the labels on Bobby and Dessi. What are their qualifications to tell us what babies need. What are their sources.? Books for information? What books? Seems to me that we need more information to judge the accuracy of what we are being told. Especially when it comes to babies. This video could be 100% accurate.
