I'm 70 years old now, but I still remember when I was a teenager talking to a boy about a girl he had dated. She was a pretty little blonde, but apparently not very bright. First a Boy….Second a Girl….my Third and last came to be the kindest ….most considerate young 35 year old minimalist before it was truly a “thing”…… if he had two pair of jeans he had one too many…..his middle school was a uniform school ….tan khakis and navy blue polo……HE WAS IN HEAVEN……he could go to school and onto church or a wedding …he and his wife have kept the momentum and been a model for all to experience….what a gift from God…..but I do believe a more relaxed parenting style raising him …..reminding ourselves “don’t swear the small stuff”……Blessing to You Both and yours….what a delightful season of your lives…..

Hi ladies, Congratulations Diana best wishes to you and your family. You ladies are STRONG, Dawn you with 4 and Diana getting ready for #3. I had TWINS 33 Yrs ago and after giving birth I was DONE !!! For REAL lol. It could also be that I was struggling A LOT ( very loooooong story). Then being a single mom was NOT EASY, but here we are today and I can't believe my girls are 33. The hardship/struggles and lessons that life has taught me so far is sometimes hard to believe it's been my life but here I'am. I absolutely loved being pregnant! Especially the last one. I was 41, it was the best pregnancy and the easiest delivery of the 3. I have never felt so good as I did then. Part of me didn't want it to end. Part of that was knowing it was likely my last child (it was). I just felt like I was this holy vessel for God to use to create a special life. What a blessing!

Yeah baby number three was like I have been there done that. All of my babies are crazy. 😂 for my third I was hoping for an easy one I'm pretty sure he's the most rambunctious of them all. none of my babies were good sleepers I felt like I didn't sleep for like the past 13 years for the most part with some sprinkled sleep through the nights in between. I always nurse for a long time probably around 20 months with all of them some was a bit longer some a bit shorter. My youngest is four I'm so waiting for that sweet spot where they're all a little bit more independent. I think I'm almost there. I always sucked at being pregnant. I was instantly sick and then it lasted the entire pregnancy. My body is wrecked. But man do I love my kids. I would 100% go through it again for all of them. But it definitely takes a toll. I am hoping to one day have my sanity back. Still waiting on that one. 😜

Diana, I understand the nesting time. I may be one of the only people that ever loved being pregnant. I found I took much better care of myself. I was careful with what I ate, I was sure to get adequate exercise and sleep... all because it was the best thing for the baby. I have 3 biological children, I would have thought I could have been a pro at the parenting gig. That baby #3 made me rethink my ability to do anything. It was no longer balanced with a one parent to one child ratio. We were outnumbered. He was easy and demanding at the same time, one the other two still had their needs. I love the multi generational living. I have noticed in my area, there are so many families building and buying homes adapted with attached, however separate living quarters. I had a friend have her home built with a smaller, yet full home attached by the garage. She also had her upstairs complete with two master suites an open living and kitchenette for her children. The home was built with having 4 generations living in it. In our area there has been a demand for such homes.

You two are the best! When I had my first son My Water started leaking at home and I had to get all my dishes done and everything cleaned up before I could go to the hospital. I did that with my fourth one my water completely broke and they said well if you come to the hospital we'll observe you for a while will I ended up having her emergency C-section hours later. But I did the same thing had to make sure my dishes and different things were in order we were a busy family with no dishwasher. I agree with the part of being outside on a lawn mower oh yes! I love that you're sharing about the story of that makeup and the creators story my goodness that is a beautiful thing. Bird feeders my son and daughter-in-law have had a bird feeder since they have been in their twenties they said you know in Minnesota the weather is so long in the winter time and they needed to feel some life. So when the kids were young they got a bird feeder and thought it was so fun for the kids to look out the window. I know we have a book of the birds of Minnesota and it is a really awesome teaching you can find Birds by the color the end of the pages and then it tells about it it's a really good teaching science nature things about Minnesota do they stay all winter or not. I think it's a must for anybody sorry Diana. My daughter-in-law has a bird feeder stuck to their window and that I didn't know if I wanted for a long time because all I would hear about is mice like the crumbs and I didn't want them near my house but they haven't had a problem. The View that you talk about you get to see from your windows I miss the open field behind me years ago they built homes it got sold. But we do still get those wild Critters in our area. What was really sad the other day was there was three deer in between the medium of a road by us and they couldn't go either way because there were two lanes of highway on either side. I wanted to jump out and save them I felt so bad. I hope they were okay. When you talk about Princeton's family we have disinfamily members he is from India and oh my I just remember my sister-in-law having to learn to cook the foods. But their food is so good

Love your channel! This season of life for my husband and I has been hard but has given us hope of still becoming parents. It has strengthened our relationship where for others it can do the opposite. We did 3 rounds of IVF with no luck. We ended up with a few normal embryos so that gave us a little piece of mind. I’ve always had a adoption in the back of mind for years. We are in the process of embryo donation/adoption. Our initial appointment is in a few weeks and our home study is done. We are excited and hopeful for our future. We know God has nothing but good plans for us. We are looking for an open relationship with the donor family because we feel it’s important for our child(ren) to know where they came from. Would you please pray for us?

My grandparents moved in with us when I was one years old, and being the oldest of four, we only ever knew that our grandparents always lived with us. I often wonder what they thought when we watched American Bandstand and shows like that. They never said anything. We loved having them there. I moved in with my daughter when my granddaughter was a teenager, and she did not appreciate that at all. I didn’t expect that, and six years later it’s still difficult at times. Better to do this when they are little.
