Turning 40 was the sweet spot of the season of life and I actually believe it was the kick off to each year getting better than ever could have expected and I say this with real satisfaction (will be 66 in a week). And my life joy has been to be the big sister to my beloved identical twin brothers who are going to be 65 in October. My mom: no babies to 3 babies in 13 months in the mid 1950s when there was no ultrasound and she and my dad did not know they were having twins. Total fun the whole way through!

I love this! Every time you girls talk about the radio station I think “if Dawn hadn’t been fired I’d still be living in a chaos”. I ran up on an old friend and actually said “PLEASE! Stop by anytime!” And I really meant it. Because of Diane we have a whole group in our community reading through the Bible this year! I thank God for you two!

I love seeing you two together. My twin and I will be celebrating our 85th BD on September 25. I live in Kansas and she lives in Illinois. My brother in Illinois is planning a family party on the 24th so we are looking forward to celebrating with family. We are not identical twins but have a lot in common and have always got along together.

Hey Dawn I've got one better. I got fired after 31 years working for the same family owned business! When you get older and make twice as much as the younger employees they don't want you anymore. Oh well I don't consider that a fail on my part I consider it a fail on their part. Also I will say I was robbed of getting to retire after all those years of loyal service. Great video you two. Love your channels.

My identical twin sister and I are 59 and we have always loved it! She and her husband live in France (missionaries) so it’s so very hard that we haven’t seen each other since 2019. We never fight either. We were happy that we grew up in France because they didn’t separate twins in school!
@Ripplesinthewaters2 жыл бұрын
My great grandmother was an identical twin. They passed three years apart. I am a teacher. I disagree with separating identical twins on principal only. Some do great together and others do better separately. I would prefer to follow the parents’ wishes and work from there.

I started following your sister, Dawn, a couple months ago because I desperately needed to declutter and make my home simple and I have done it…well, at least for round one. Anyway, I thought that there was something different and refreshing. Then I saw this segment on your faith journey and it confirmed what I was wondering…you are both sisters in Christ with me! Thank you for sharing your faith walk and also the prayer at the end! Continued blessings to both of you!

You two are adorable and so different! I appreciate you saying how much others' opinions of you matter. It's so transparent and honest. I sometimes care A LOT and sometimes can blow it off. Within identical twins there are two kinds, actually. Are you guys mirror image (rightie/leftie, hair parts in opposite ways) by chance?The other is like monozygotic or some fancy word. Genetics is really not everything, as you two hilariously demonstrate!

I don't think it's bad to have your kids fight. Your siblings are the first people you learn to resolve conflict with and if you never fight you don't get that opportunity. As an only child until I was 9 I had to work extra hard to learn that. Getting a step-brother was extra shocking because I hadn't had a safe place to learn those skills along the way.

When I traveled alone I felt safer at a B & B as back then the owners were on the premises usually in the same house. If, you two can be each other's greatest supporter that is a huge gift. When my daughter was a teenager she wanted to go somewhere that I didn't think she needed to be and wasn't old enough to go to. Of course, she told me everyone else was getting to go. So I simply responded that if she would get me everyone else's phone number I'd call their parents to verify that they were letting their child go. Needless to say I never got one single phone number and my daughter didn't go either.

My girls are 8-year-old identical twins and will be in 2nd grade starting tomorrow. I have insisted since preschool they be in the same class. They are very different, have different friends and clearly are their own person. BUT....they look to each other for support, and I don't want to take that away from them. I also talked to many, many twins including identical girls in their 60's who were always in the same class and said they love having the same school memories and talking about them together. It's all personal preference, depends on the twins.

I studied twinship in my BA program because my prof has a twin so this was her pet project. I believe though you guys are identical, you are considered mirror image. I immediately thought that because you part hair on opposite. And as I have learned more about you two. I am more convinced that you guys are mirrored identical twins because you guys compliment each other in many ways rather than completely identical (such as those that wear the same outfits, marry similar men, can finish each other sentences, etc)
