Baby #3 is the best (IMHO), don't tell!! The birth was like a party, and so fast!! compared to #1! 🎉 You're absolutely right about being Mom as your first job! My the Lord bless you and keep you! Raspberry leaf tea. It's been awhile since I was pregnant, but maybe Dr. Sears' pregnancy book would have some good tips for the veins and swelling. I had varicose veins in ahem, other places, as my pregnancy progressed. But witch hazel compresses were helpful. Maybe to find extra time to rest, ask a friend, neighbor or an older lady from church for some relief, have her take them to a park or library for a couple hours once or twice a week. Maybe a young lady from church, who might come on a regular basis and just play with the boys. Some day you can pass on the favor for another friend, and it's okay to just receive during certain times. Pregnancy qualifies! In the "old days" mothers, aunts, neighbors, sisters were all close by. Women aren't supposed to do life in isolation, so don't feel guilty at all asking for help with the boys so you can put your feet up for a while! Order groceries and just go pick up, don't walk around the store. But, keep taking walks outside, good for the circulation. Make a special basket for snuggle time on the couch, things that they only take out during "mamas special rest time'. We did a lot of reading during pregnancy! I had a great book on stretching during pregnancy, I forget the title just now. She was Australian. There are plenty of mom and tot exercise videos out there. That's a nice way just hang out with the boys while still taking care of your body's needs. Sorry for the length of this! Love your joy! 😂 So excited for you!

What an excellent and encouraging list! You covered a lot of things that are helpful to me and hopefully other moms reading this! My boys don't understand why mommy can't run around like she used to, but they're also learning to be more independent and helpful when I need it. The Lord gives me energy one day at a time and I do my best to steward it well. Thank you for your excitement; children are a blessing (even when I'm tired). :)
