Oh my gosh, I was crying while watching that. I knew the mother would be ok, because it was on The Dodo, but I still had a tiny sliver of worry. That was heartbreaking to see her unconscious, and the baby screaming (in fear?) for her. I'm so glad they are both ok. I hope the mother will not have any lasting damage from this episode, and will be 200% healthy again. Thank you to all that helped rescue them both, and revive the mother. 🤗❤

Oh bless that Mumma, she went down the hole for her baby. I've seen this several times, and it still makes me tear up. The panic cries from bubs, the frantic vet, the men doing CPR, the digger operator all working tirelessly in the rain and mud for one outcome. And they did it, what a joyful sceme to see them walk off together back to the jungle. Amazing effort, when humans are awesome.

Oh man, seeing the momma elephant unconscious and the baby just in pure fear and duress was heartbreaking! The volunteers and vet(s?) did a wonderful job saving both! I loved the woman in the whole scene. She was so IN IT for them - doing everything she could to direct people and save them. 💪🏽 ❤

Fortunately none of them were hunters. When I was a volunteer in the local wildlife rehab there was a hunter guy too, who actually stabedd several of the rescues and said to everyone he couldn't save them and they "passed away". Hunters just hate animals I guess.

I thought they had lost the muma Elephant until that brave man started jumping on her, he literally jump started her, to get her heart pumping and oxygen into her lungs and brain. Then, I cried with joy when they were able to recuse the baby as well. I believe wholeheartedly, the babies presence helped that mothers willingness to live, to be with her baby.
