I love when I hear people who say the have never been to a hospital before. What a blessing. I have a chronic illness and the hospital is a normal part of my life. This year alone I have been in the hospital for 5 times about a week long each. And that is not counting all the day long visits.

Don't dismiss the suckling because "ain't nothing in there" 😂😂😂 Eventually you learn that that's sending all the needed signals to your brain to let your body know... "It's TIME! Send out that liquid goal we been prepping!" 😂❤ During cluster feedings that's basically what's happening. In addition to baby wanting to suckle for comfort baby is also letting your body know to increase production. The body will begin making more milk in these large jumps. It's so amazing! 🥰

I know it was a stressful but as a labour and delivery nurse, base on you height and the size of your stomache, i kinda new it was going to be a c/s delivery. Focus on your health and baby’s health. Congrats 🎉

Girl, I took castor oil with my first born and just like you said “I still taste it” & it’s been 8 years 😭🤣. It did work for me and I had my daughter hours later but the taste was so bad It wasn’t even an option with my other two pregnancies after her.

When I got my second c-section and they showed him to me I was obviously high on surgery drugs and my first words when they said he was 8lbs I was like “there’s no way he was gonna fit out my coochie” 😂😂😂 he was a big boy and as much as I was sad about the c-section once I saw him those feelings eased just slightly (at least the feeling of defeat). I was still upset because it was not my plan lol, but either way I grew a whole human 😂 a win is a damn win
