An accident that could have easily been avoided had she not given the baby uneeded medicine in the first place. Manslaughter seems fair to me.

Well the baby didn't take it on her own she was 7 months old and if the baby had been fine all day which everyone said she was she was given that medicine sometime after getting to the defendants home and she was the only adult there benadryl doesn't take long to start working especially with a 7 month old baby and she was given 2x the dose sadly she more than likely died overnight while the defendant slept which is probably why the defendant gave it to her so she could sleep and not be disturbed by the baby the other kids were older and wouldn't wake up throughout the night like Abby would for a bottle or diaper change

Knowing nothing about this case and just completely and totally guessing I’d say she probably gave her own children Benadryl when they were young but didn’t remember the correct dose and overdosed the baby on accident. I’ve heard of people giving it to babies to make them sleep. Really sad case.

I am surprised she did not plead guilty. She is lucky it’s not a murder charged. Definitely manslaughter maybe 🤔 involuntary or wreckless homicide.
