He actually opened the door to appeals arguments she didn’t have before like ineffective council, which she couldn’t use while being her own lawyer. And not enough time to prepare for the case which she couldn’t argue while she was representing herself. These are valid arguments an appeals court may want to hear and I’m not saying they’d agree with her just that they may want to hear arguments

Mr Owens was the only person who created a scene in the courtroom. By yelling at Jorge's mom to leave when she buried her face in her hands. Owens is as horrible as his client. She got a fair trial. Jorge got unfair treatment from her their entire relationship. You're not dopey. You're human.

However, I can respect a defense attorney passionately defending their client, but when you start making stuff up and having your client lie, then you lose me... One thing I can respect about Robert Tellus' attorneys is that they would not participant in lying with Robert... and I do understand the law, but many liars twist the law. I felt like , at times, Mr. Owens was very rude to anyone and over-talked even the judge w/o any real valid cases to substantiate his arguments. His latest motion for a new trial has some cases cited, but still most had no explanation to point to the parts of the cases that substantiates his arguments.
