Sorry to read that. It took my surrogate mom too..one of the greatest people to ever walk the earth.. Taught me a lot about love and compassion.. I can't imagine where I might be without her being in my life.. loving me..Without that... I don't go there, ever. Cancer is bad enough and the modern medicine will get closer to beat it. But pancreatic cancer.. that is a whole different level from ugly.. takes away the best and even the strongest...and I "fear" it might stay like that.

Aww, I am sorry to hear that. This was the first time I heard The Contours, they were the number one male group at motown until the temptations blew them out of the water. They along with Brenda Holloway, Kim Weston, The Monitors, and The Velvelettes were the most overlooked groups in the history of motown that celebrates 65 years this year. The Contours biggest problem was their songs were too repetitive. Same melody different words. Also Love Man was released several years after not in 1963.
