Amen sister- dirty dancing Havana nights is a good answer though to a continuation swayze makes a cameo in it if anyone wants to see it or has seen it it’s a good flick it’s not a you know remake it’s not a after a fact what happened to baby? What happened to Jonnie? What happened to everyone in the flick? It’s just a movie dirty dancing Havana nights about a girl and they do parallels. There’s a scene in the flick where the main character goes to a nightclub and sees “dirty dancing” just like baby with “I carried a watermelon.” 🤦🏻♀️ iconic, right?

Jennifer Grey had Patrick Swayze not only as a dancing instructor on the screen but as well as on her free time as well. The success, of this dance, was totally due to how much commintment they dedicated towards it because nowadays everybody wants to dance to this romantic song. Rest In Peace Mr Patrick Swayze. Please post only positive comments over here. Thank you. Please stay indoors during the quarentine as much as possible. May 29, 2020 @ 1:55 pm

That's wrong. They hated each other during RED DAWN. But when they made DIRTY DANCING three years later, they had made amends, though sometimes Patrick, who was a perfectionist, would get annoyed when Jennifer would goof off. It's evident during the "Hungry Eyes" montage. But the set of DD was not tumultuous. That's become an urban legend.

I remember when DIRTY DANCING was first released in 1987, I did not want to see it because I didn't like the title--but I got over that. Being 15 in 1987, my mother drove me to the first screening I saw--and then we saw it six or seven more times before it left the theater. Not knowing that Jennifer Grey & Patrick Swayze loathed each other [after meeting and working together in 1984's RED DAWN] or that Patrick Swayze was very married [10 years at the time] to Lisa Niemi, I bought Johnny & Baby's "chemistry" hook, line and sinker. It was only later that I learned that Patrick was a classically trained Joffrey Ballet dancer [who met his wife, Lisa, in his mom Patsy's Texas dance studio when she was 15 and he was 21, marrying Lisa at 19 when Patrick was 23 in 1975] and gymnast, I think...I do recall the black-and-white DIRTY DANCING poster of Patrick Swayze leaning back in his black sleeveless shirt, black pants and black cowboy boots that eventually ended up on the ceiling of my bedroom over my bed for quite a few years before I left home...you could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard he was sick and dying from lung cancer...although I do like GHOST, DIRTY DANCING will always be my favorite Patrick film [as well as the only Patrick film I own]...
