Baby Monkey Troop Integration Goes Wrong - Vervet Forest - Ep. 33

The Vervet Forest - Ep. 33 - Orphan baby monkeys Jeffrey and Christal meet the Koko troop foster moms but they are terrified and it takes them quite some time to find moms and peace. We attempt to integrate DnD babies Conjo, Kobe, Merlin and Timothy into the troop, but things go terribly wrong. Baby girl Lou meets Acorn (the alpha female of Saav troop) in a Saav intro enclosure, but Acorn could not be less interested in the teeny tiny monkey. We receive a new orphaned baby vervet monkey named Mr. Miyagi and he is a ton of fun to watch play around. In the end there is an update on the Goliath babies Jerry, Joby and DD who are all doing amazing out in the troop.

I had no idea about the advo"s before the videos helped you guys make money for the babies. sadly i had watched almost all the advo and then in the last seconds clicked skip. then when kyle said it helps and to please not skip them but watch them omg! i wanna to kick myself but at same time i was happy because i now knew because of you kyle another way to help make money for the babies. like i said i wish i could do more and to know now i can just by watching the ads and clicking like makes me happy to know. thing is i appreciate kyle so much because he is the first one to ever exsplain how watching the ads help and not to skip or block them. im sure there is a ton of people that feel just like me and would gladly watch the ads if it helped the babies out but just never knew till now. If you seen the damage these things do too food source in south Aferica and the massive hunger in peoples kids then you'd understand. I've seen a troop destroy hundreds of Acres of crops in a couple of days by just taking a bite out out of a vegetable, just one bite and drop it and take another bite, then, drop that one, and repeat until they strip the whole garden, they will even get into people's homes and do the same and shit all over everywhere. I've seen families go hungry because they had all their food destroyed by thing. So the last time I was down there was the last straw and I helped culled them. You are allowed to shoot them one sight for any reason at any time and there's no limit. I'be shot maybe 80 of them. The people don't like one bit at all.

Yeah, he has been a bit of a fussy baby from the beginning. Very picky and loves to complain. But as an ex-pet its not really his fault. His past humans probably pampered him and treated him like a prince. So now that he has to develop his monkey skills and not be treated like a human baby he's all turned around and confused.

The males are in the troops, all the troops are comprised of males and females. Kathy Macomber completely. And especially when they’ve been kept as pets for a while. But it always breaks my heart when we receive ones fresh from the wild, because they cry for days, even weeks, just wanting to be back with their moms.

Thank you for the reminder about ads, Kyle! I do use an ad blocker, because the never-ending barrage of ads (and, apparently all the conflicting formats? ) were slowing my laptop to dial-up speeds and I just couldn't take it anymore. I will, however, remember to disable when I see your vids. Kobe...little dude! Just can't do it the easy way, eh? Glad he is okay, and hope that "round two" goes without any monkeys - or humans, for that matter...Terry is a hero! - getting munched. Merlin is looking _good!_ And...what is up with Acorn? 😊

Zentierra Acorn is just a greedy butt head who wants nothing more than to show how tough and cool and powerful she can be. Torie is the best, she works wonders for the monkeys here. Don’t worry, next episode everything will be resolved for the DnD babies. Merlin’s the best.

Roberta Matchie Yes, it definitely happens, mostly with older babies 6+ months who have been kept as pets. They eventually are integrated into the troop as a normal integration on their own and with friends they’ve made rather than waiting for a mom. It can be a bit more tricky and time consuming, but it works out in the end.

Kathy Macomber yes, most of the time with these troops. In the wild it varies. But many migrate.
