More Than Words does have two meanings. They dedicated it to the fans during the LM5 tour (it was the encore song). It's also about their friendship with Kamille (who wrote and featured) because she's been with them since the beginning and written many of their hits. They had to scrap their entire 3rd album because it wasn't good enough and they were worried about getting dropped from the label but Kamille came in with Black Magic "When the world tried to break us we found Magic". When the Perrie/Zayn break up happened they wrote Shout Out to My Ex "Won't forget when he broke my heart how you helped me through, You turned you turned you turned a disaster into a dream". There's also a Power reference "Gave me the Power made my life brand new".

More Than Words is about their friendship with Kamille, a songwriter who has worked with the girls for many years and who the girls repeatedly say is like their 5th member. If you look at the lyrics there are some references to old songs and about how she helps them find their words. "gave me the POWER" "We found MAGIC" "when you're down and can't find the words to say you know I'll give my words to you" It's an extremely beautiful yet underrated song that is lyrically genius once you know the concept.

I've been following your reactions for a while now, and I'm 100% sure you're gonna be obsessed with her music! She has 2 albums and 2 EP released yet and you should totally react to them! I'm gonna present you the different projects she made, in order to hopefully convince you to react to them, because you reacting to her would literally be a dream come true!!!! Her first album is named "Not An Apology", but I don't think it's necessary for you to react to it as it doesn't represent her actual style at all. Plus, it got blocked in many countries, I don't even know why. Her first EP is called Young Blood and it's made of bops, bops, and bops! She made it when she was really young, and her style changed radically after it, but it's still incredibly good. She then released "Yes Girl", a single. This album has their best features period. Nicki Minaj - their dream collaborator since the very beginning Kamille - like their closest friend and long time song writer on their album, basically their sisters. And the song is about each other! Sharaya - proper brings the song to the next level and the girls chose her from the tv show she was on

More Than Words is sort of directed at the woman who featured on it, Kamille, because she’s been there for the girls a lot and has written some of their biggest hits, and they consider her a 5th member. Some of the lyrics in the second verse refer to some of their hit songs that she wrote which helped boost their careers :)

The high pitched voice in woman like me is actually Jess Glyne who wrote the song. Little Mix changed a bit of lyrics and added Nicki to the song, but the pitched 'a woman' was kept from Jess 😊 (oh and also maybe a fun fact, they wrote Grown with Jess Glyne aswell!)

"More than words" is about Kamille. She's a friend and a song writer who co-wrote a lot of their hits, and this song is like a tribute to her and their friendship. Like, "when you're down and you can't find the things to say, you know I'll give my words to you", like she helps them out with lyrics, helps them to express themselves. Then, "won't forget when he broke my heart how you helped me through", it's referring to how she co-wrote "shout out to my ex". "You turned a disaster into a dream, gave me the power" is referring to the song "power". "When the world tried to break us we found MAGIC and we grew stronger through every line" refers to how their salute album underperformed and they were sabotaged by their label, but then "black magic" which was also co-written by Kamille, became a huge hit. But yes, everyone can relate to the song the way they want. It's very universal.
