The typically metal gatekeeper is not a big fan of groups with a "idols" past. Furthermore they always complain that this or that is not metal. Back in the days the slightest synth sound made them angry. Problem is, every gatekeeper has a different opinion what metal is. Despite I know only little about Baby Metal I can see their struggle to be accepted. I don't think the problem were they are femals, back in the day they were just kids. And there were always females band who were accepted. They sounded just to the gatekeeper ears as metal. Every video that I see with footage with EC and BM together, they had so much fun together.

Now that they're both playing festivals in Europe, both bands have played it live. BABYMETAL have joined Electric Callboy on stage, and Nico and Kevin haved joined in with BABYMETAL and their Kami Band.

The Kami band is playing this live. A band I know that uses the 3d hologram tech during their live is STARSET. They have a clear layered screen between them and the audience, and they project lyrics and all kinds of effects and images on it. It's really damn cool live. The Fu Fu at the beginning and during the song is a Japanese karaoke culture thing so I heard. I guess you have to be in Japan to get it. Fun video though.
