16:04 Ah bless, look at Gemma beaming there! This was Babyshambles at their purist point. A proper expression of the punk rock ethos IMO.

Wish the camera would have filmed pat going off. Bass is OK but that electric guitar 🎸 👌 sweet tones

In 2004, Babyshsmbles was the greatest Rock band on the planet. When they lost Gemma, it was never the same intensity or sincerity after that, but I still loved them. It’s just like when Guns N’ Roses lost Steve Adler. It’s just a drummer, who cares? However, the magic is off.

i think the man who came to stay could've been a great hit of them if they had given it a chance and had produced it better

I think it was really well produced. I have to say I think Mick Jones would have ruined it like he ruined Killamangiro.

Anyone who was there and can confirm which drugs he was handing out to the aufience?
@damotheman4196 Жыл бұрын
You think addicts give their drugs away? How would that make any sense? Its usually the other way around man..? Was paying for his stuff from gig to gig but decided to give it away to people? Addicts, we tend to take take our drugs, Sam. That is where the problem lieth. 😂

I dig this but i feel Mick and Pete are a better fit, this band was more experimental then the band that recorded Shotter's Nation. Pat has a sound Mick doesnt but sometimes a song doesnt call for somebody's sound just solid playing. Mick is average but thats what is required he cannot play Pat's parts worth a fuck but thats not him. I'm just a Doherty fan from way back i love everything he put out. Drew is a fucking ace bass player too, amazing what a great bass player does to the sound of a band.

+Toni Paradise so true i've listened to alot of music and love the guitar i have never seen anyone touch pat walden in the mid 2000 with the shambles so much passion and talent
@1388Anthony18 жыл бұрын
STOCK MANAGER Yeah hes got a great Hendrix meets Thurston moore thing. Hes kind of busy but he makes it work. Too bad this band imploded but like i said i dig Mick too. This version of the shambles or anyband with Pat in it only needshis guitar. I like Petes playing though too hes underrated, you dont have to be shredding or solo to be good. Pete comes up with some great rhythm parts.

@brazenlilhussy59753 жыл бұрын
@@pstrokeslibsarctic He's always reminded me of an English Frusciante or a (ballsier) John Squire..I can definitely hear Thurston too though. When it comes to ingenuity he's as good as Ed O'brien or Bernard Butler imo. Love the 'Shambles!

The shambles back in the day were far better than the Libs. It would have been ace if Pat and Gemma could've hung around for a couple more years and made more music. After shotters nation the babyshambles went to shit as did everything Pete put out since. It's all about a certain time and place and from 2004-2008 nobody was better
