Can someone do a social experiment to see what would happen when a black man calls the cops on a white woman that looks “suspicious” doing just life things. I.e. mowing the lawn, babysitting, swimming, sleeping on campus etc... Just curious to see how fast the cops would come and what would happen.

Idk y, but tears rolled done my cheeks. I am Jamaican and my husband is Persian, our 2 year old son doesn't look anything like he's mix. One-day I was at a place and a witch had the nerve to ask me how long have I been his nanny? That hurt me to the core, I was going to dis her, but I'm setting an example to my son to not go off on people so I told her to ask her man! Nearly everyday people would look at me wired when he calls me mama. My hubby puts them in place whenever he's around. It's sad that we have to do through this

The mom is very well-spoken and I liked that she said that it appears that in many black families, there is a conversation that is had which advises black children to live defensively to accommodate white people's fear because that is facts on facts on facts.
@GeckoHiker
@GeckoHiker 2 жыл бұрын
After taking temporary custody of my black nephews, I had to have that conversation with them. Our town is unfortunately predominately white and backwards. There was a school incident that had to be addressed. Watching these children lose their innocence to ignorance was horrendous. Their parents were deployed defending a country that doesn't defend them. I'm so sorry that this still goes on in the 21st century. I think and hope that more white people realize that racism is still a huge concern and can affect us too. This is what it takes to make positive change.

I was a professional nanny and this happened to me when I first started working for the family & driving in the neighborhood daily. The first week i was stopped with the children by the police the cop sd he had noticed my car coming in the neighborhood this week I told them I was the kids new nanny. The kids were scared i called my boss so the cop could verify that. She was very angry this happened she expressed to the cop she couldnt believe hr stopped me for this he tried to clean it up and said he patrols that area everyday and just wanted to introduce himself & she was worried that both me & the kids were ok...this happens daily to nannys. I could tell it was hard to not cry talking about it. It hurts. Wrong or not.. & It doesn’t end when the situation itself has ended. It takes a bitter form of rejection, shame, and feeling unworthy in Places.. and it cripples your confidence. It’s a constant healing of the heart & rebuilding & reminding yourself you are just as deserving and worth as the next or for believers -who God says you are. Otherwise you become bitter and hateful.. & it takes a thick skin to endure & remain kind hearted like that ✊🏽❤️ That’s a warrior up there. That’s fs.

Years ago, I was dating a wonderful black gentleman, and once while we were in his car, he got pulled over (nothing wrong with the vehicle and he wasn't speeding .. so for no reason whatsoever) and the cop completely ignored him and immediately turned to me and asked me if I was being held against my will!😲 I was so shocked and immediately enraged. I was about to go off on the cup until I saw my boyfriend's hands were at 10 and 2 and his eyes were full of fear. He was begging me with his eyes to just reassure the cop and keep it moving. While dating him I had experienced other racist incidents, but this one did me in. I understood then what it truly meant to be black in this country and I was so heartbroken for him and angry. I will never forget that awful experience for as long as I live. 💔😡 If you wanna hate someone... hate them for being a dick. Hate them for some character flaw that they can help! Not for the way they were born! I was raised with different races in my neighborhood, church, and groups of friends, so I never learned to hate or distrust people for their appearance. It's ignorant and shameful.

Next time go off on him. And flim the cop trying to explain why a white woman shouldn't be allowed of her own free will to be with a black man unless she is there against her will. He will struggle with his foot being in his mouth. Then make sure that everyone gets to see it. Nobody can change anything if they don't try.

Let’s think about this in a legal view... when your a Minor YOU CANNOT BE QUESTION with out a Parent present or approval!!! If Corey would have not keep his cool or filmed the cops are Trigger Happy and would have probably started shooting him for have a GUN 📲 in his hand... and the kids would have problems been killed. YES THAT HAS HAPPEN AND WILL HAPPEN AGAIN until we get THESE COP 👮🏻‍♀️ 👮 Better training on Race ! Or the tyrants get killed in the field 🤙🏻☠️

Profiling in general is such b.s. Because of the way my husband looks he automatically gets profiled as a biker gang member or a drug head. When will people stop judging on looks or color and judge on how a person acts? Such a sad state of affairs that ignorance like this still goes on.
