Such a great time for guitars. When I was young back in the 70s/80s a 265 dollar guitar of today might cost 150 back then? It was usually not very good at all, and many people quit playing because the affordable guitars were just hard to play. Not today. There are some very nice affordable guitars out there. Nice of you to highlight them for people Jonathon

Loved the tones of this Tele, sweet tones clean, overdriven . Then surprised it is that cheap ! Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard. Bacchus is the brand used by Laura Cox.

I’ve been playing a nice Indonesia-made Affinity Tele for a few years now. However, recently I’ve been eyeing a sweet looking seafoam green Bacchus BTE1-RSM - with a roasted maple neck and Gotoh tuners. It also has vintage style saddles and ashtray bridge. Would it be a good and worthy upgrade from a Squier Affinity Tele that I have now?

It sounds a lot like a Squire Bullet, Affinity and many other Tele clones but at a higher price. If I were going to spend $200.00 USD I would buy a Xaviere which is a far better made and sounding guitar.

Nope I disagree.. I’ve played on an affinity and this plays way better.. as far as the guitar you mentioned.. I would not know as I’ve yet to play on one✌️❤️

@@JonIsJustTooLoud You need to play one a far better guitar. Look up Guitar Fetish, I order from them and have everything in two days. Also Harley Benton they never have anything in stock. I live in Florida so it's a joke trying to buy from them the same as Bacchus.

You have to realize when listening through computer speakers things don't sound quite the same. I've been a drummer for 59 years and a $100 drum kit might sound as good as a $1500.00 kit depending what it's being played through on our end.

When God said we shouldn't even say the names of the foreign gods do you think it's ok to own a guitar that proclaims one? I thought you are Christian, or just a musician that works doing worship? I dont care how great and inexpensive a guitar is, it's not worth my eternity. Sorry.
