Oh my goodness it drives me crazy hearing these podcasts completely misrepresent what someone actually said. She never said Ashley was in on anything or that Sydney was hired. I also don’t blame her for being suspicious we’re talking about the same franchise who set up Victoria on the date with her ex and cast Caelynn & Hannah B on the same season due to their feud from past pageants

Maria , stated that it was a conspiracy of hers .. she did not say that it was a fact. I can understand her thinking that when she saw that picture of them together. Sidney was really manipulating situations in the house. Maria is being authentic expressing what her thoughts were, and because what she went through is understandable.

Ashley’s perspective and tone is gas lighting Maria with an attempt to make her feel stupid and look and sound crazy. Ashley could have discussed this but instead of judging and bullying she could have said she felt horrified and sad to think that Maria thought that about them…That would take courage and vulnerability.

Notice how Ashley and Sydney are EXACTLY the same 😂 when Madina said on that group date she felt bullied, Sydney chimed in to say she felt bullied, too, even though she wasn't part of the situation at all. And here Ashley suddenly appears and makes herself part of this, even though her name was never mentioned. Interesting interesting ... 😂

I have an opinion that might be a little off-topic here... I think everybody in the house knew Maria would go really far. She has a beauty and a confidence that is rare to find in a young woman, at least from what I've seen. Most young women seem to be very insecure, sadly. If anybody in the house wanted to be strategic, and stay for a long time, that would mean they would have to try to get Maria out. Keeping Sydney would be no big deal because she would be sent home at some point anyway. However, it would have been really possible for Maria to be the one at the end. If they wanted to be strategic they would have to take Sydney's side and keep Sydney around. Sydney wasn't a threat to anybody in the house as far as winning Joey's heart goes. If anybody in that house was insecure, they would want Maria to go home.
