Woohoo! She’s back!! I’ve enjoyed your reviews, and these books sound like they might be pretty interesting. Particularly Last House. Something about that cover art just speaks to me for some reason. And Wives Beneath The Sea? Sounds like it dives into some pretty interesting Lovecraftian horror, so I might be saving that for my future TBR. Keep up the amazing work! 😁👍🏼

I think The Last House will speak to you based on your taste in books! It’s a psychological horror (might not be the best) but it takes a special type of reader to really understand what’s going on 😅 I would not say it is my favorite but lmk what you think if you ever read it!!

@@jillywonker Sounds like it really would be up my alley! I’ll probably need to check it out once I finish some other horror books in my collection. In the meantime, my current obsession has been autobiographies, surprisingly enough. 😅 I actually just finished the Britney Spears one yesterday!

I'm glad you're feeling better, our wives benath the sea sounds brilliant mostly - the issues you mentioned though mean I won't read it. I saw a lot of people saying it was annoying for the reasons you said.
