@Chris Bumstead-Tip to maintain good form-like the quarter rep and full rep chest press, it is quite intense and very easy to pick a heavy weight. However, psychology is that you'd want to hurry through as you find you may not be able to complete the set with the proper tempo. Remember, you have total control over what you lift, if you fail 4 reps in, all you have to do is have a lighter pair on stand by lying next to the bench and you continue your set. We always forget. Also, count your reps it's fine, as mentioned, you fail, you drop the weights

Somebody did their research on long length partials.... Lot of research out now showing that doing half reps from a fully stretched position is actually better for you than doing a full rep. For a couple of weeks now I have saved those half or quarter reps for the last set in a workout. Usually add weight till the last set and then I drop back down to the original weight I lifted with and just crank out slow LLPs. It's going to work! Way to stay ahead of the game 👍

@ImFlxqq7 ай бұрын
@@adamrochester1 Not sure where all your animosity towards him is coming from. Just because he isn’t as good as a bodybuilder as Chris, it doesn’t mean his way of training isn’t effective. I literally just said I’ve incorporated parts of his training techniques into mine and I’ve really blown up as a result of it. The training Chris is doing in this video is pretty much the basis of Mikes training style so I’m not sure what you’re even trying to imply. Seems like you just don’t like him for whatever reason.

You're doing the partial on the reverse pull down in the wrong part of the movement. It should be done in the stretched position, halfway down, then back to the top, then full ROM, if you are alternating like you did on the incline dumbbells.
