This month a year ago I started the journey of going from shitty dad bod to athletic and now training to look like I actually workout. Single dad about to turn 40 in October and holy Sh*t has it been work. I'm enjoying the grind, it's become my zen place and when I don't workout I feel out of wack. Stumbled upon your channel about 2 months into my search for knowledge and found the grail of motivation. Thank you CBum for the inspiration. Thank you for having a heart as big as your stature, thank you for being an all around good human and leading by example. Cheers with my protein shake as I start Year 2 of this process. Still sore after every workout and still getting Lit off CBum Pre.🙏

Chris, Wanted to let you know that I've found great inspiration in your videos when it comes to pushing yourself mentally when at the gym. Keeping a healthy and positive attitude is what has made the biggest difference in my fitness journey, and I've been consistent for coming up on a whole year. I started in October at 190 lbs with years of never feeling my best and always fluctuating weight; now I'm 156 lbs stronger than ever, looking and feeling my best while loving the process. Thank you for showing us how to elevate our own standards.

@samnoori85512 жыл бұрын
Hi! I’m not cbum but I’ve been lifting for a while. Soreness doesn’t indicate a good workout. You should be focusing on progress. Are you progressing in your lifts (while maintaining good form and a good diet that supports your goals?). You could be sore from workouts that aren’t that good and never sore from workouts that will get you big. I’ve been lifting for a while and I never get sore (like ever) but I still make progress!

Hope you read this CBum, noticed the comment you made about vertigo. I used to get extreme virtigo. I Had it for years, would last 1-2 months. Dr's were no help, had to figure it out on my own. The trigger was alcohol. Haven't drank in almost 14 years now, and haven't had vertigo since I quit. Stress, poor sleep, and being run down were the precursors, and if I had a drink during that time it would trigger a vertigo episode. Thought I would share, there isn't enough information on true Vertigo and it's causes
