Actually, Mr. Enter, the bully kid's name is Eugene. "Snotty" is just a nickname that the barn animals gave him.

It’s kinda like how Dr. Robotnik is called “Eggman” by Sonic and his friends. But the difference is that Eugene doesn’t call himself Snotty Boy like how Robotnik decides to call himself Eggman.

Well, bovine or cattle would be a more accurate neutral term for both cows and bulls. Steer refers specifically to a male bovine that has been castrated. Since Heffer refers to himself as a steer in Rocko's Modern Life... I'll just leave you all with that mental image.

Ok this is a bit of a guilty pleasure The writing is pretty good and pretty sharp When the crew figured out they got cancelled they wrote a song called d*ck t*ts and the producer walked in while making it and the va for Otis said and I quote “what are you going to do cancel us more?”

I honestly love this show, it's hilarious and I die of laughter every time I watch an episode. It's clearly not for everyone but I think it's severely underrated.

I remember enjoying that show. It was no masterpiece but more often than not, jokes would catch me off-guard by how absurd they would be. Also, it was the show my dad enjoyed the most on the network and with the number of referencial stuff, I can see why!

Male cows don’t exist, but neither do female steer, steer is the word used for castrated male “cattle” which is the word you’re looking for (on a side note, there isn’t really a female counterpart for a steer like bull being a male counterpart for cow, the closest thing to a female steer would most likely be a heifer, although that refers to a cow who hasn’t given birth yet)

I actually love this series. It's completely insane and absurd. Also, if you pause the show at any given time and screenshot it, then you'll end up with a cursed image!

0:40 Going to have to correct you on this one. Steer refers to a castrated bull, the species is either referred to as cattle or even just cows, when talking about a group. Which actually is kind of weird, cause multiple bulls can be called cows, but a singular bull is not a cow and... yeah, not even going there.

Otis is considered Trans by many and there are other hints of it in the show.

One thing I noticed about the show is that near the halfway point there is a somewhat tone shift which can even be seen in the episode title cards at first the did old times pictures on the wall but then changed to fully 3D colered scenes from the episode which makes me think over time the writers became aware of some of the criticisms and completely changed the tone come off as more goofy and less serious and even a bit more mean spirited

0:31 I have a similar problem with that when it comes to male kangaroos with pouches (Penguins of Madagascar and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog has those), female peacocks with beautiful feathers (Hero 108 has this, Skylanders SuperChargers nearly when with that idea but one of the kids testers told them about female peacocks not being colorful in reality so they scrapped it. BTW, female peacocks are called peahens. Collectively, we call them peafowls) and male mosquitoes sucking blood (A Bugs Life had it)

to think I'd remember the movie of Barnyard being good............... But however the show itself of Back at the Barnyard not so much it's just random gags thrown in with characters from the movie with little to substance at least Jimmy Newtron got it right
