These Big Mike videos helped me so much. I had no idea how to use these machines when I started. I was just yanking on these pulls and actually hurt my elbow. Now I more able to find the muscle and feel it. My back is developing. My lats are growing. I’m 59 and started at 56 so … I actually have lats now!

Iain still has it! I’d love to see him compete one more time. Family first for sure but I’d still wanna see him step on the stage one more time. Thanks for the content boys! I’ve learned a ton from Mikes videos and have implemented a ton of stuff to my son and I training. Got his shoulder problems to go away almost immediately even while he’s in season for football. Much appreciated 👊🏻

Such fucking bullshit. Mike isn't adding anything and touching X muscle on his back doesn't do jack shit and it certainly doesn't improve mind-muscle connection. As if a seasoned, Olympian like Iain doesn't have a few small cues regarding back training 🤷

it would be a mistake for Iain to come back. Both he and Cbum have had great careers and made money, a ton of money in Cbum's case. They are transitioning to become fathers and focus on family and staying healthy. As a father of two boys I can tell you this is 100% the way to go. They can stay in the industry and in Iain's case he could become the best judge out there for decades to come.

Mike wearing the Paul shirt is funny, the bromance is real. There are so many second and third rate trainers out there but when you look at Mike or Hany training athletes you can feel the difference just watching it.
@terminator23483 ай бұрын
No, you can't. And comparing Mike to Hany is moronic to say the least.
@lateqs3 ай бұрын
rocking seems to change the fulcrum or starting position which keeps you in the mid range of the movement for longer. This means less time spent in the shortened/lengthened position. It seems to feel good because you feel you aren't losing leverage at any given time and it will appear you are "holding tension" on the target muscle. Interesting way to train, I would say this would only be applicable to back as other muscles either have better leverage in these shortened/lengthend ranges, or may experience SMH.

I appreciate Mike's dedication to finding and using proper form, but sometimes I feel he's making his clients etc way over think how they should be doing the exercises. For me I wouldn't be able to do all that, listen to him & still get a good workout in doing that every set on every exercise.
@GVPfitness3 ай бұрын
That’s where you’re wrong and if you were to actually listen to the cues you could have a better work out than before. Anytime training with someone who has an eye for form breakdown can see if you’re actually engaging or not
@78matt3 ай бұрын
Yeah the body tends to find the most effective way on it's own that's how the body is designed. And parts that aren't egaged will be engage when they become weakpoints and you move up in weight. 99% of people just need more size and not work on one specific part of the muscle
@bondmcnugget3 ай бұрын
When you get more experienced you will understand what he says.
