Back in Action: Waking Up a 1966 Suzuki Bearcat and Taking it for a Spin #suzuki #2stroke
Welcome back, Gearheads and Vintage Bike Lovers!🔧🏍️
In today's episode, we're breathing life into a piece of motorcycling history - a classic 1966 Suzuki Bearcat 120cc!
This mighty mini-bike may be small in stature, but it's big on character. Once a staple of rural roads and city streets alike, the Bearcat has been lying dormant for far too long. It's high time we get this old cat purring again!
Join us on a thrilling journey of revival, as we work to resurrect this dormant beast. We start off by sharing the story of how we came across this vintage gem, showcasing its condition upon discovery. Then we dive into the heart of the beast, detailing the process of getting it back up and running.
We'll be taking you through the entire process, from tuning the engine, cleaning the carburetor, to replacing any parts necessary. Plus, you'll see firsthand all the elbow grease that goes into restoring an old motorcycle to its former glory.
But the fun doesn't stop at revival. We also take the rejuvenated Bearcat for a spin, providing insights into how it rides, sounds, and feels. Can this old school 120cc engine still hold its ground in the modern world? We're going to find out!
So grab your wrenches, your helmets, and your love for classic bikes, and let's get this 1966 Suzuki Bearcat back on the road!
Remember to like, comment and subscribe if you enjoy this video. Your support helps us keep the lights on and the engines revving. Until next time, keep the rubber side down and the spirit of adventure alive!
Ride safe, and keep the rubber side down!

I had a Suzuki B100P (known as a Bloop) in the UK as a student back in 1969 - in essence the same bike as the US Bearcat but for street use. I went everywhere on it with my girlfriend. It never missed a beat. A few years ago bought an old one for a few hundred quid, spent a bit more and now have a replica for old times sake! When riding it I feel 17 all over again. To make things even better it seems that these survivor old smaller two strokes are now appreciating in value!

I’ve got a few b120’s myself and I ended up collecting them. Can you remember the reg? It may have passed through my hands at some stage and I may be able to pass you on to who bought it. Let me know. I’m in the UK too

Where I grew up in the 60's. When I was in 7th grade, the Honda 90 scrambler was 'The' bike everyone wanted. We didn't realize the small displacement bikes from Suzuki kawasaki and Yamaha actually offered way more bang for the buck. Honda marketing was just too good!

Clever of them to call it the BearCat. In 1966, the Dad's that be buying it for their boys and girls would know its the name of the best US NAvy Piston fighter developed at the end of WW2..

I had a 1965 Suzuki K15 “Hillbilly” when I was 16 (my 1st MC). Knobby tires, 80cc, but otherwise nearly identical to the bike in this video. Great starter bike back in the day but now finding parts may be tough & prices for running examples tend to be high. Crank roller bearings fail requiring low end rebuild. Nice museum toy but get a newer bike for better experience in the long term.

Thanks for your feedback. The last thing I worry about is the Algorithm. Because you can’t figure it out. I asked for people to tell me “how they would do something” is because I want to know. I am not an expert and work in my shop alone. When you guys comment(good or bad) that is the only feedback I get. An I appreciate each and every one. Thanks for watching.
