Lewis Black is the greatest. The only comic that George Carlin enjoyed watching before his death aside from his own daughter. The man knows how to really get you emotionally and intellectually invested in everything he is talking about. I sincerely hope he takes another comedian under his wing and mentors that person. @LewisBlack if you're reading this, please pick me? It would be a great honor.

When I visited the US, I was so happy that stores like Target also had Hanukkah jumpers. I mean, it just makes sense. I'm not even Jewish, but we Christians should be aware that we're not the only ones celebrating. In about ten years, the Muslim holiday Eid will be in December too, so let's have a mega celebration then. =)

Let's be clear. I've grown up with Christmas but I'm pretty sure that, by and large, the _US_ isn't celebrating it right. I mean I dare to say it's worthwhile to have a few Jewish friends if for no other reason than to have people to hang out with after Black Friday who can give you an _escape_ from all the Christmas _music._ Seriously, come Black Friday, it's like Father Christmas has invaded my radio, no matter what station I _tune_ it to, no matter what time of day or night.

Christmas never had anything to do with christianity actually. 90% of the traditions are from a pagan holiday celebrating the winter solstice that the romans sloppily retconned Jesus into. Most experts agree that Jesus (who is generally believed to have atleast been a real guy) was born in august.
